I’m still trying to figure it out with the mixer setup all the icons went away when I reset it how can I get all the icons back on there
@MikeRussell6 ай бұрын
Don't worry, icons can be reassigned individually in the settings for each channel.

I've had a number of problems with the Mackie Matrix software. Is there a link to the manual somewhere? Issues I've had: 1) Delay/reverb getting added to audio when using the EQ (and doesn't save, but that's a known issue) 2) Samples raise pitch of all uploading sound files 3) Inability to re-program buttons on Mackie Mainstream 4) Sample hotkeys do not work, nor do they save when changed 5) Plenty of confusion about monitor mix, understanding the monitor selections and where it gets sent. It honestly feels like guessing most of the time without good direction 6) No way to have applications send to Mackie matrix AND system audio. Forces me to have Mackie Matrix open at all times as Spotify is now set to one of their virtual inputs so I can control it for a stream. 7) No distinction between mic input and "system sounds" computer input Is there any extra info on making this software work out there? This is literally the only resource I could find on the internet. Thanks a lot!

I'd recommend reaching out to Mackie support directly for specific troubleshooting assistance. You can find the manual for the Mackie Mainstream on Mackie's official website under the support section. Good luck!

Did you ever figure out the delay/reverb bro? It’s drives me insane, then when I try and fix it, it’s like it adds even more delay/echos, was told a month ago by mackie that we would be getting an update but still nothing
@slim_22808 ай бұрын
Going to get one, as linking two computers would be good for tutorial videos. Absolutely love Mackie.

That's awesome to hear! The Mackie Mainstream is indeed a great choice for linking two computers!

Hi Mike! I have noticed the price of the mainstream going down on Amazon. Has there been any news regarding Mackie and the acquisition by Rode? Will their line of machines continue? Just wondering if you've heard anything from the grapevine. Thanks!
@MikeRussell5 ай бұрын
No, there has been no official news or confirmation about Mackie being acquired by Rode that I heard recently.

I have been looking for any hardware or software solution that allows me to pan/balance a specific windows application to the left or right channel. does this software let you do that?

Yes, the Mackie Matrix review showcases the hardware's capability to pan specific audio applications to the left or right channel, providing a solution for your needs!

Can it be used in offline mode? That is, can the power type-C be directly connected to a USB adapter instead of a computer?
@MikeRussell5 ай бұрын
Yes, the Mackie Matrix can be used offline by connecting the power type-C directly to a USB adapter instead of a computer.

Is the mix in the matrix the output my streamers will hear? Because last night was my first night using the mainstream and it seemed like when I would adjust levels on the mackie knobs it wasn’t actually adjusting volume in stream…just my headphones?
@MikeRussell7 ай бұрын
Yes, the mix you set in the Mackie Matrix will determine the output that your streamers hear.

When I use my Maxine mainstream with my rode pod if I can barley hear my self and I have to make the volume almost to the max so I can barley hear myself but there’s like noise on it and it’s unusable what can I do?
@MikeRussell7 ай бұрын
It sounds like you may need to adjust the gain levels on your Rode PodMic and Mackie Mainstream to find the right balance.

@@MikeRussellbc when I lower the mackies gain I can’t hear the hiss sound but the mic is low it’s around 70% of gain I bought a cloudlifter maybe that would do?
