The gas rods were designed to bend, the first gas motors had the same rods as standard and they used to shatter and destroy the motor, the gas rods have saved many engines. The rear mains also leak from people overtorquing the flywheel/flexplate bolts which bulge the seal surface.

You obviously have one of Fords secret experimental territory motors. It was running on hydrogen, and someone switched it off mid-hydrolising, hence that clear clear water in it! Lol 😄
