Work up a swatch with those first two yarns. I think you might be pleasantly surprised at how well they go together. The gold lurex would work with navy , green or just about any shade of red. And a deep purple would be absolutely marvelous!

I have seen a few shorts where people have been very critical about differnt things you do (your hats, your noise, the fact you don't lay your private life out for all to see ).....crystal you do you! I love your videos and your tuts are very informative where you give options on yarn and needles. I find you very easy to follow because you go the extra mile to make sure to give all the info I need to make it and customize it ti me. Don't let the poo people get you down you are worth a lot to us crocheters who follow you and if someone has a issue they can just click off and fade in the backround.

The gold metallic would go with any jewel tone yarn, and the other choices? I think they'll work nicely. But, Crystal, the fuzzies! 😬 The fuzzies are So hard to crochet! I have a bunch of the Herschner's Teddy Bear baby yarn, which i tried really hard to crochet in a number of different stitches, and it made me crazy!😂 But knitting? Went with that, and it's doing okay. If the yarn hadnt been a gift, i would never have gotten it. It loves sticking to itself too much for my liking . You are definitely a better crocheter than me.😊

Hey Crystal! My mom and I agree with all your thoughts. No, to the green’s together. Yes to all the other color combos. For the gold, my first thought was to pair it with a royal blue, reminds me of Starry Night. My high school colors were green and gold so maybe pair it with that green yarn? A nice red would look really nice with the gold as well. I trust that whatever you come up with will be fantabulous!!!! My mom and I were so excited watching your unboxing, we were talking, (talking = yelling excitedly) to the tv like you could hear us telling you our opinions😂😂😂. Thanks for the good times, Crystal!❤

The first 2 green yarns you showed, the metallic you showed looked more like silver on camera. You'd have to work up a sample and see. The gold would go with almost anything especially dark royal colors like brown chocolate, dark royal purple or royal blue. I thought the alpaca and peachy /salmon/purplish match wonderfully! The blue and tan with the tan matches well also. The dark brown goes well also. The one that's 'not up for debate', I think looks perfect together! That brown eyelash yarn looks like it would match that dark brown with the fuzzy. I think the 3 strands at the end match very good, once it's all intertwined, you won't know the difference! Hey Crystal. My grandma taught me to crochet when I was young. But from 25 to 40 something I didn’t pick up a hook. Life. Sadly, I had forgotten everything. But, when I was ready to learn again…a decade ago…not quite sure, it was YOU that walked me through it baby steps. To the point I could crochet anything blind folded now. I went on to learn to knit and then get an Addi thanks to my best friend and her sweet birthday gift. Because hey so much easier. And Crystal even has one. The two colors of brown mohair at the end would be stunning together. The light and dark would play off each other like dappled sunlight and shade. You could give the light green metallic a go with the green bulky yarn you showed. They don't look so great next to each other, but together it might be very nice. All of those combos you chose go great. They dont have to match exactly either, so long as they are in the same color family, shades family. The only way to ever know for sure is to work up a swatch. I think if you work up a swatch of the sequins and green, you'll see that it looks like a mossy, forest-y carpet covered in dew. Hi Crystal, 👋 you asked so I'm going to give you my opinion on the greens going together. On my screen the sequin green looks more like gray then army green so I'd have to say no they do not go together. I have to admit, I say your dad's saying all the time and not only to my kids.😅😂 I love that peachy variegated fluffy bella mohair yarn and yes they match. The lighter brown with the brown variegated mohair. The kid alpaca would look good with the chocolate brown. DO IT!!! Crystal watch your mouth "too much yarn" there's no such thing...lol I like the 🌈 flecks. The double kid mohair brown go good together.

Love the first blue /brown/gold mohair mix with the beige alpaca /merino. The blue fluffy & brown could look amazing 😍 Kid mohair is beautiful on its own - very light but warm. Or knit double. I would get the angora/merino in a grey/green to match the sequins yarn - posh bar top 🤣 The colour of the bulky green is gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️ Eyelash yarn looks great - not always so fun to knit with ..... With all respect: 1. Sorry, I don't think the greens go together (I'm sorry) but I do LOVE that blingy thin green, it's gorgeous! 2. I like the Bella Mohair with the lighter color, I think it will be beautiful. I don't think everything has to be matchy matchy. I think it will let the gorgeous yarn shine. I remember when you doubled the other one & yes, you could see it a little but I loved the look of it. 3. I would definitely double the kid mohair w the brown. I loved the look! 4.
