Even if the x number of charm attacks results in 50.0001% HP left, it still needs an additional hit to bring it under 50% health. 1 additional charm is the difference, but still unclear what the actual gap between the two is. It could be extremely little, hence I would do additional testing.

The shadow boost is known, so we can do the math. The base attack of M. Gardevoir is 326, so 341 with a 15ATK. The regular Gardevoir has 237 (so 252 with 15ATK). Then Shadow Gardevoir would be 284.4 (302.4). The change is significant, but not very large. The main difference is when you are trying to solo or duo very hard raids. In general, I find more fun to try to find an additional friend or trainer to take on a raid with you than trying these challenges. But ultimately, it's "just a game", playing for fun is the goal.

The Master question here is! Why is there no dmg meter in Pokémon go? They don’t even display the dmg output for every person. It’s kinda ridiculous and soo easy to add. Don’t know why they haven’t implemented one 🤷🏻‍♂️ (came back after quitting in 2017)

Would be funny but you can’t solo a gallade with a mega or shadow im pretty sure. If you can’t, then you can’t have an exact estimated time because the hp bar is way too huge

i guess you missed the point. double attack but also double damage. So in normal scenario normal vs shadow are on same level. if low hp then normal wins over shadow. if no shield with charged attack then shadow wins

Yes, the mega is stronger, but it boosts the other fairies in raids, so a shadow gardevoir boosted by 30% becomes way stronger than the mega

And then if there's two megas providing mega boost for each other then the mega boosted mega is strong than the mega boosted shadow.

I know that a boosted mega is stronger than a boosted shadow, but you cannot have more than a mega in your party, so each person in the raid should put their mega in different slots to make the mega boost last longer

I have a 13/13/13 S.Gardevior but not a hundo.. but if i purify it, it will be a hundo, which i want for the mega. But im not big on purifying for hundos... What do you think i should do? Especially seeing that purifying for mega is not a lost, because it is stronger than the shadow

yo whatsup, i purified mine to a hundo and think it’s the best idea, shadow garde isn’t awesome for gbl especially with a raid moveset like charm and dazzling gleam, so it’s up to u but i personally purified mine and am best buddying it too

@notnathancodm Well, first of all, this just takes into account the fast move damage, which doesn't get as big of a boost in shadow form compared to a charged move. And we all know that charge moves are what deals the most amount of damage

@@devoinshowerhandle551 not correct. Both moves would be boosted linearly. the mega taking less charms than the shadow would also mean it takes less dazzling gleams on a stronger boss to take out. While it was a short test, it was enough to show the mega slightly outdamages the shadow.

@@devoinshowerhandle551 It's still a good test. If it does more damage with the quick move, it will do the same rate of damage with the charge move. Since the mega Gardevoir does the most quick damage, it will also do the most charge damage. The EPS (energy per second) remains the same.

I prefer shadow because easier to obtain and boost. Mega G can only be done by using mega stones.

Completely up to you, if you really want a hundo gardevoir, then purify it, if you already have another good regular gardevoir that can mega evolve, then keep the shadow

My personal opinion is to keep a high IV shadow because ralts is in research tasks and in raids so you'll have a 10/10/10 floor, a good IV shadow is far harder to obtain, but that's just what I like to do. I've purified a few shadows to get the hundo, just not useful ones 😂
