Catching one of your videos is a true bright spot in the day for many of us. For me, I’m just glad to see that the homestead way of life, which is so much a part of our American heritage, is still alive and thriving. This was the way of life for my grandparents and great-grandparents, and I have so many happy memories of helping with various harvests- especially from my grandpa’s apple orchard!- and even more happy memories of learning about cooking and baking with my mother and grandmother. We are truly blessed in our ability to feel God’s love in our daily lives, and I know that many channel subscribers really enjoy sharing gifts with you so that they can also show God’s love in a practical way!

WOW! That was like Christmas in July!! Love, love, love seeing how happy it makes the kids and the grown ups too! Shawns eyes when he was explaining the batteries proved that no matter how old you are you can have that same glint in your eye as a child, you tell he was very happy! Sarah's hair style in this vid is gorgeous, she looks like a Greek Goddess. I love the overalls dress for Rebekah they are just perfect for a future homesteader! That gasp from Rebekah when she saw the sticker book was PRICELESS! How Anna keeps looking at her watch shows how super excited she is about that gift and Davis going off to the couch to "work" on the settings shows how super excited he is! David's expression when he got the Lego set was another PRICELESS moment! What an amazing video, I would give it a thousand likes if I could. Can't wait to see part 2!

We are so very proud of Samuel! He will be a full-time college student starting this fall. He is exceptionally smart and has received an amazing scholarship that covers his college expenses. Samuel is hard to buy for as he"s more of a minimalist. He LOVES reading and could use some more blue jeans. I guess I could add some jeans to our Amazon list for him. 🙂

This does my heart good. It's a blessing to us viewers to get to see children that have been raised with love, patience and respect, because that's what they reflect... love, patience and respect. They are so well-behaved it is amazing. Even our bunch get pretty wound up and excited at Christmas time... and I consider them pretty well-behaved. Your kids are excited and happy, but still well under control and respectful of their parents as well as their siblings. How in the world do you two do it? You model it, I know.
