Konami, Sunsoft, and Capcom were like the holy trinity of NES soundtracks for me, just consistently great compositions on game after game. Plenty of other games and companies had great tunes of course, but these three companies really knocked it out of the park repeatedly!

God damn it bill now I wanna play mega man on my switch!!! Well done cover. Love this mix a lot. ❤🎉

Thanks, I'm super psyched about the mix on this one! Mega Man 1 thru 3 are super classic, as are X 1 and X 2. Mega Man 4 isn't too shabby either, but the soundtrack isn't quite as classic.

Are you going to do more classic Mega Man remixes?
@thesosomusician2 жыл бұрын
There's several songs from Mega Man 1, 2, and 3 that I definitely want to do. The toughest thing is learning them and getting them up to a presentable speed, so that's usually one of the factors that determines what songs I pick on the channel. Definitely will be playing some other tunes though!

🔥🔥🔥!! Great work Bill! FUCK Metal Man though. Couldn’t you beat him with Bubble Man’s powers? #metalmanisawuss LOL
@thesosomusician2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Metal Man knocks out Bubble Man, you knock out Metal Man with Quick boomerangs (although I usually do Quick Man last, so I take out Metal Man with the mega buster first time around).

Your channel is good, but not quite good enough for a subscribe (yet). But keep it up

Cheers! This whole channel has been an experiment for me to force myself to practice instruments that aren't my main instruments, and it's evolved to include learning sound engineering, video editing, and video production, and it's been a blast so far. There's definitely some places I want to grow the channel into sonically and visually, and I always get a kick out of looking back and seeing how far things have come. It's a process but I'm excited at the prospects of continued growth, and either way, I learn something new each video so I'm enjoying the journey!
