Mega Man 2: Wily's Final Boss and Ending- No Damage

Dr. Wily's stage 6, Skull Castle, from Megaman 2 for the NES. This is Dr. Wily's final form. No damage taken. Set to difficult, hard mode. Features ending and credits.
Mega Man has no choice but to utilize Bubble Lead here, no other weapons will scratch Dr. Wily's holographic alien, including the buster. Whatever you do, don't make contact with the alien; doing so will hack off about half of your energy.

Mega Man 3 - I guess you face this big ass robot now Mega Man 2 - Go through this stage that doesn't have badass music, meaning that something wicked is about to happen. Once you reach the door, Wily shows himself to be an Alien. This goes to show why I prefer Mega Man 2 to 3. MM 3 just starts you off at the boss door with the same music playing. Mega Man 2 does things differently, and makes the player feel insecure and tense by making them go through an underground cave that has no badass music to make them feel something is up. It also makes the player feel suprised when Wily shows himself to be an Alien, and it leaves a big impact because of the suspenseful level leading up to it. That to me is what makes a game so memorable. The presentation goes a long way.

the final boss isn't too bad with enough persistence, but it's damn annoying to have a set pattern only to accidentally collide or get hit by the projectile and get half your life shaven off. In any case, it's tolerable since it's the very last stage

I can still remember it like it was yesterday... Saturday morning, I got up early and had to be quiet because my sister was still sleeping and figured I'd give it a try ( 89' or 90' can't remember exactly what year but i would've been 7 or 8 years old ). I remember trying all the weapons until you realized bubble was the one. After you beat "Wily" and you get the ending of him walking it felt kind of surreal because it was a downer feeling but then you can rock out to the ending credits which is totally awesome song. That was a great game

Also back when I first played this game and that loud noise around 2:05 played i thought my game glitched or froze and I was like nooo!! after all my hard work getting here! but that sound is supposed to play it is Wily`s broken machine

This final boss i REALLY unfair, because the Bubble weapon is the ONLY thing that can damage him, and since there are NO recharge sources in the part before the battle, if you run out of it.... GAME OVER and you have to restart the entire Wily castle from the beginning. Good thing the Legacy collection provides quick saves or nowadays this would be a really unfair game. And thinking the rest of the game is so perfect.

Truth is, despite its name, the Bubble Lead is actually made of sulfuric acid. It damages the boss because the acid is eating through the wires of the hologram device creating the alien.

there were some serious issues in the game 2 places where no fault of your own you could run out of weapon energy during boss fights and be forced to die, this fight was one of them(I remember getting to this guy the first time, watching how ofter I threw my bubble lead and still running out with wily at 30% health!), the boo beam trap was worse though (I can't believe how many times I lost to that boss even using the weapon sparingly and having it run out!)
