When I saw PS2, I had that thought of “Oh God, it’s the Anniversary Collection version. This is gonna suck!” But after seeing that it was the PS1 disc on PS2, I breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that they wouldn’t be putting up with the bullshit plaguing the version in the Anniversary Collection.

You did PSX version because it's quicker, but it turns out that some content is left out. The Sega Saturn version is the definitive release with all of the content, since the PSX version is more of a holiday season rush-job (released December 1996, as opposed to the Saturn's release of January 1997).

I dont get why this game gets so much crap,it has cool robotmasters,the sfx and music are amazing. The horrible voice acting is not a good excuse to judge the entire game,MMX4 also has an awful dub,blame america's horrible localization. Thankfully i didnt had to stand X4's crappy english voices when it was originally released cuz my brother and i had the japanese version wich came with the psx he bought.

I totally get why people hate it. It looks like a joke compared to the first 5 - 6 games. There's so little effort put in this game by the looks of it. Same with the X series, which pretty much completed the transfer from fantastic to garbage.

Even here you can start seeing the "X"-generation, or what I can call it, come into play. They should've stopped making Mega Man after 5 or 6. But unfortunately every great game series get an unworthy end to their reign, by releasing way to many sequels, and milking the cow bone dry. After Mega Man 6 the whole series became a joke. It litteraly looks like a joke nobody even gave a fuck about making funny.
