There's just... Something about Galaxy Man's fast, energetic theme and design (short, cute, big head, big eyes, small, round body) that sort of make me view him as the "cute child" character of Mega Man 9.

Going to this game for the first time from Mega Man 8... I picked this stage first. The gameplay immediately felt better, E-Tanks are back, the Special Weapons are far better than MM8's, and the soundtrack is a banger again. Mega Man was truly back!

It bothers me why the game somehow degraded after megaman 8. The artstyle and music was perfect in my opinion. And when i played megaman 9, i was really dissapointed that theyre going back to the 8 bit style game.

Apparenly people didn't like MM8 so they went back to the original I personally LOVED Megaman 8 and I played everything leading up to it. To this day, MM8 is my favorite MM game of them all. "I'm Search Man! Ok!"
