Apparently the Mega Man relates with most strongly. I have a feeling pre-Quint Mega Man wore that green armor and arrowhead helmet to honor his fallen comrade.

I had an interesting thought. It could be a stretch, but hear me out. The ending shot of the _Mega Man 9_ credits would imply that Mega Man and Tornado Man got along pretty well. Perhaps a pre-Quint Mega Man wore that green armor with a yellow arrowhead to honor his fallen comrade.

I think it's supposed to reinforce the nod to Mega Man Zero series. Since Tornado Man was based off of Sage Harpuia, who served Copy X.
