You know something I never realized until years later, when you play through the robot museum stage, if you notice carefully their are 3 capsules broken in the museum backround. Now why this is important is because in Megaman 8 the sega saturn version of the game, there are 2 hidden stages where you fight Cutman and Woodman. Its an intersting nod towards a future payoff, especially when you see how surprised megaman is to see those two still alive in MM8. My guess is wily released them as wild cards to sew chaos.

It's also ironic that those two are released because of their importance to the megaman image, with cutman logically being the very first robot master you ever fight in the series and woodmans leaf sheild being the most prevalent robot master weapon in the franchise, in almost every non cannon megaman appearance he has leaf shield as a weapon. Which is hysterical because its basically useless. lol

Very cool! I'd much rather this than the Mega Man & Bass SNES reproduction cart I got of the GBA version. This Bass was my favourite MM sprite of all time! That's the one minor thing I'd complain about this though, I wish it was the exact sprite from MM7, but the shear awesomeness of this hack far outweighs my petty complaint.
