Did you know about the voice actors of your favorite Mega Man characters? Believe it or not, every single incarnation of the Blue Bomber has been voiced in English by both an actor and an actress! The Battle Network series in particular, being a massive franchise in and of itself, has quite a hefty amount of clever trivia with its long-running anime series and video games...and let's not forget the ill-fated Mega Man Legends 3, which has an interesting story behind the voiceover included in a game that never was!

I'm never going to be looking at Ed the same way. That fact alone I just find rather disturbing. Then again, there was that one Ed, Edd, and Eddy where Ed Raged to extreme lengths.

Fun Fact: Janyse Jaud also voiced two characters in Ed, Edd, n Eddy. Sarah and Lee specifically.

Considering the whole bit about X and Rock having the same voice actress in X4 and MM8 respectively, a few voice actors appeared in both games as well. Wayne Doster voiced Zero in X4 and Duo in MM8, Michelle Gazepis voiced Iris in X4 and Roll in MM8, Matthew Meersbergen voiced Colonel in X4 and Sword Man (the real deal not the NetNavi) in MM8. In the Japanese language, both Blues and Zero (in the X series and MvC3) are voiced by Ryotaro Okiyau, Duo and Guts Man in the arcade games, Slash Beast and Magma Dragoon, and Tengu Man were all voiced by Takashi Nagasako, the voice of Ganondorf and Donkey Kong.

NT Warrior had a really cool cast, shame the dub edits (blurring the swords, cutting out nearly every shot of MegaMan pointing his buster at the screen) and the fact that we never got Stream (the last season) or the movie happened.

NT Warrior had 5 seasons, actually. Stream was only the third one. The fourth and fifth seasons were named Beast and Beast+, respectively. Although those two also weren't localized either.

When i found out that NT Warrior went beyond Axess and that it wasn't dubbed, I was mad. Then I watched the first three episodes of Stream with subtitles, and was even more mad. Because holy hell Stream gets intense and shows Bass to be the biggest badass in the show

Finding out that Bass.exe is voiced by the same guy who voices Ed from EEnE is a pleasant surprise. One's is one of my favorite anime, also based on my favorite video games, and the other is my favorite cartoon.

I remember hearing an older interview with Hebert, where he said that although he feels anime voice work to be more artistically fulfilling, video game voice work is his main bread and butter just cuz there's way more work available in that field.

+Bufekana Don't let his current association with the ponies fool you, he has a lot of experience in voice acting (Hiten in InuYasha, Muruta Azrael in Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, Dende in Dragon Ball Z, Genki in Monster Rancher among MANY other roles). To be fair though, it'll be tough for bronies to hear his NT Warrior voice as anything but "young Shining Armor" for precisely this reason.

Very timely for the BN stuff. Started replaying the entire series and plan on rewatching the anime soon too. I'll never be able to see Bass as a badass again though; Could not stop laughing when I saw who his VA was. You also forgot to mention that the VA who played Megaman Volnutt in Megaman Legends 2 was the same person who played Lita/Sailor Jupiter in the Sailor Moon English Dub as well as the VA who played the Mayor in Legends 1.

Kirb, to you and your fans, I present to you. 自作ロックマンDASH3（Megaman Legends3） Promotion movie Megaman Legends 3. The fans have come together and are making "Our Own Megaman Legends 3", and it looks pretty good so far. Like a real Megaman Legends game. Who knows, maybe this will convince Capcom to finish the actual Legends 3. Seeing the fans wanting it so badly that they're willing to literally make the game themselves might convince them to finish the real thing, if only to make money.

FYI, the voice actor who voiced Ed also did Kira Yamato in Gundam Seed, Destiny, and I believe all of the gundam related games as well released in the states.

Two things blew my mind in this video: 1) Matt Hill, voice of our favorite dunderhead Ed, is also the voice of ominous anti-hero Bass.EXE. 2) Brad Swaile, voice of egotistical wanna-be God Light Yagami from Death Note, eventually went on to voice protagonist Lan Hikari. (Hey, I just noticed both their connections to light.)

I really enjoy this little series, even though I already know a few tidbits. One thing though, I am certain Brain Bot from the original show was voiced by Terry Klassen, not Scott McNeil. Certain sounds and nuances are giveaways when compared with say, his Krillin from DragonBall Z.

I find that Mega Man Volnut, despite never having played the Legends games, is my favorite rendition of Mega Man. I guess I just don't like helmets or hats very much, considering if there's a hatless option for a character I'll usually take it. There are exceptions though- I'd wear the Red Mage's hat any day.

Sam Vincent, also voiced one of the psychopath bosses in Dead Rising 2 named, Carl Schliff (aka the postman). He also voiced Hare, from the anime Monster Rancher who he was a very effective fighter who travels around the land with his new team Genki and his monster buddies to fight the main anatongonist named, Mu. Monster Rancher is a pretty epic anime that I think personally is better than pokemon and digimon.

...because we don't know 100% that it's him in the game. The clips in Battle Network 5 DS weren't the same cast from the show, so why should I assume that they were the same for Star Force? I do detailed research about this stuff for a reason, in order to make sure it's all 100% accurate. P.S. The FIRST NAME "CHARACTER I KNOW THEM AS NAME" LAST NAME trope looks utterly ridiculous. Do you plan to do a Mega Man episode focusing on Japanese (I guess it would be a Rockman episode then, huh) voices? Like Keiji Fujiwara's roles, possibly the cheer amount of Capcom characters Yuji Ueda have done. And even though related to a pretty obscure manga, that the voice actors for Tron Bonne and the Servbots have voiced the same character, the main girl named named Flute from Violinist of Hameln, on different occassions.
