I'm surprised there wasn't any comment on Tetsuya Nomura's choosing of Mark Hamill to play Eraqus, master of the protagonists of Birth By Sleep, and Leonard Nimoy, the main antagonist of the series and old rival of Eraqus, as they not only fit the roles well, but allowed a Star Wars vs Star Trek scenario due to both actors' notable work in the respective franchises.

There's actually a reason why the re:CoM and 358/2 cutscenes aren't lip synced in English, it's because all of the cutscenes in those games are pre-rendered and couldn't be edited after the fact.

Keith Ferguson playing Marluxia I find pretty ironic considering a character he would go on to play in another Craig McCracken production, Lord Hater. That production is a Disney cartoon as well, so it's always cool to see where actors show up first and where they appear again. Also shows a great versatility in his range, as all three characters sound so different it would be hard to believe they were the same person!

Nice to see this come back after it being on hiatus for more than a year so Kirbopher work focus on TOME Season 2. I quite liked this interesting series from what I've learnt, having known things better, get me more curious about Voice Actors and their characters, go me into checking out BTVA, but I've learnt a fair amount more Voice Acting Trivia anyway. Another fact on Zack, Zack's Japanese Dub Voice was done by Kenichi Suzumura. Who done many voices such as Shinn Asuka in Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny, Leo Stenbuck in Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, and lastly, Ryutaros from one of my favorite Kamen Rider Series, Kamen Rider Den-O. Also, Osment did the voice of Mowgli in Jungle Book 2, and Chip in the Direct-to-Video, Beauty & the Beast: Enchanted Christmas, and Zephyr from another Direct-to-Video, Hunchback of Notre Dame 2. Sorry, Disney related stuff. ^^;

You left out that after 358/2 days, in which it was a dedication to Wayne Alwine after he passed away, Brett Iwain voices Mickey from Birth by Sleep to the recent Kingdom Hearts game, Dream Drop Distance. in fact, even though Wayne was credited for 358/2 days, not for the HD remake, because Brett voiced Mickey for said remake. the same is said for Christopher Lee; even though he did voice work in said game, Corey Burton voiced Diz for the HD remake. Why didn't they just recycle Lee's recordings from the DS version? i don't know.

Even the Final Mix exclusive line happened to be a line DiZ said in 358/2 Days, also done by Christopher Lee, so they used that audio clip. Only the Days cinematic in the HD ReMIX threw away all of Lee's dialogue and redubbed him with Corey Burton, and only because there was one extra line to be dubbed. They didn't wanna use Corey Burton for one line and Lee for the rest, so they redubbed the entire Days cinematic with Corey Burton. However, for KH2 HD remake, when Namine had an extra line, instead of having voice actress Meaghan Jette Martin dub over Brittany Snow, they kept Snow's dialogue and had Martin just dub the one line.

To me Mandy Moore was my favorite actress for Aerith, I was really sad when she didn't return for KH2 or Advent Children. so I would be great to hear her return to Kingdom hearts, but I'm guessing she will not return as aerith(but to have her as Rapunzel is nice too)

As it turns out, she isn't the only character to have a new voice actor in KINGDOM HEARTS III. For example, Buzz Lightyear received a different voice actor for the game, and it sounds identical to Tim Allen's performance in the TOY STORY films! Until I learned otherwise, I thought Allen had reprised his role.

@@jacksonramsey5023 Ah yes, Mike MacRae was Buzz's VA in this game, notable for being a voice actor for several ADV Films anime in the mid-2000's, such as being the President in Super Milk Chan (even doing specific Adult Swim promos) and the Alien Captain on Pani Poni Dash, my favourite anime of all time. He's since moved on to do stand-up. His Twitter never stops amusing me, so I think he's pretty cool.

It's actually a bit different to what's stated here. The majority of the animation is done after the Japanese VA work. But in most of the games, the facial animation is re-synced to the English dub. Matching lip-flaps was a complaint had by the localisers and cast of FFX, which was done shortly before the English version of Kingdom Hearts and resulted in a slightly stilted dub. Of course there's exceptions. In the case of the DS games, the cutscenes were done using the KH2 engine and inserted as FMVs, meaning they couldn't be edited without reacquiring the cutscene data. As for Re:CoM, it was originally created as a bonus disc tacked onto Final Mix, and so it most likely did not see a full localisation effort because it wasn't really a 'full' Kingdom Hearts game. The PS2 version never even saw release outside of Japan or America.

I like how George Newbern is the only undisputed, unimaginable voice actor for Sephiroth despite that he's also known as Superman. I really do thank to whoever found him. He has dark sounding, intimidating, threatening, and a deep voice for that character which is perfectly fitting. Wow, those goosebumps that gives me the chills whenever I first time hear him say "Good to see you...Cloud." That's exactly how his character should be. Can't imagine anyone else fitting in his shoes. And he said it himself that "It was a lot of fun." :D As for Lance Bass, I know that he seems basically like a miscast for that role and that he'll always be inevitably remembered as the first Sephiroth, but to be curious and no offense intended, how the hell did he get Sephiroth's part in the first place? I mean really don't get me wrong, I like Lance especially his *N'SYNC(along with Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick(aka Chip Skylark), Joey Fatone(former announcer of Family Feud), and JC Chasez) background and that catchy song, Bye Bye Bye XD, and his voice acting is not bad and all, but the voice itself is just not right and fitting but too light and young sounding. However, the bright side is I would love to see him better off as a different, new Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts character if they ever give him a chance.
