Did you know that something similar to that checkpoint swarm effect happens in Mega Man 2 every time you exit a zip? But they only exist for 1 frame before disappearing. I like to call them zip phantoms.

Y'know, Bomb Man as Mouser, Guts Man as Clawgrip, Fire Man as Fry Guy, and I guess Cut as Birdo, Ice/Elec as triclyde edits spamming their projectiles and Dr. Wily somehow as Wart and you'd have some kind of MM1/SMB2 crossover going. Maybe. I guess. It's a stretch.

This was great! Nice seeing some extra Mario-related hacks outside SMB1 too once in a while :) By any chance, do you plan on playing the NES bootleg of Super Mario World in the future? I know the music and the controls seem uneasy sometimes, but I think it'd be a pretty interesting choice.

Does somebody remember a name of a game similar to Mega Man, but with Arnold Schwarzenegger as the main character? There it was also possible to chose among the robot costumes which you earned after fighting the previous owners of the costumes. One costume was making you able to crawl on walls and ceilings, yellow costume was for swimming, blue for flying, green for protection from bullets.

Kosmic, I am so sorry you had to play this hack. This isn't a good example of what Megaman hacks are, as there are far better ones. One in particular I suggest for you to play is Megaman Ultra, a hack of Megaman II because Woodmans level is a perfect example of how Megaman should work in Mario's world. Its a faithful recreation that isnt filled with bugs and is genuinly fun to play.

@@Kosmicd12 sadly it is one level, though its done very well. The rest of the levels are like abandoned versions of some other levels, like MetalMan taking place in a forgotten area in Firemans stage on the gameboy version and Airman taking place after megaman leaves wilys castle in megaman 3. Other levels are cool, like quickman being if you could play the mega man 2 title screen. Though you would probably have alot of fun with woodmans stage since its original and pretty difficult. Btw, I like Megaman I more than II aswell. Very great playthrough

I can't believe I love this romhack back then. It's utter garbage. Probably the 5th worst Mega Man 1 hack while Return of Wily is the most worst hack which makes Rockman Claw looked awesome.
