I remember renting this back in the day. I was able to derive a little fun out of it when I figured out how to do the Mega Shot, but I still lost interest before the weekend was over. Not a lot of fun

I don't know how one of two actual good soccer games to exist could be considered a Bad Game (this and Tecmo World Cup)

I respect your opinion but with that statement, I’m assuming you mean MM Soccer and Tecmo World Cup are the only good soccer games to exist? Or have I missed something here? 🤪

That radar thing is really awful; blue is whoever's goal is left of field, red is whoever's is right, so when you switch at halftime suddenly you're expected to know you have to watch for the other colored markers. Wonder if there's a button or button combo or something that lets you launch the ball a quarter of the way down the field like Wood Man was doing, because that certainly didn't look like the same feeble pass you had, and that just smacks of "the computer players have moves you're not allowed to use", always a "fun" way to add a little "fair" challenge to a game.

Capcom really missed out on calling the Championship by Mega League. Somewhat topical too, beating the Super League by size.
