Mega Man Star Force DX - All DX Bosses Legend Mode

The Star Force DX patch brings in a call from Star Force 2, the DX Bosses! Once you acquire the DX card, you can toggle on/off the DX versions of bosses. If you thought the Legend Mode versions were hard, do I have some bad news for you. These are all absolute monsters who can wreck you at the smallest mistake. Pegasus was by far the most channenging one. I'm still not sure how they intended for you to dodge his GX move, but thankfully a well timed Jammer Machine Gun saved me.

I cried when I saw Andromeda DX here alone fighting her in Legend already was piss fighting her in Legend Mode DX is MURDER

I am actually amazed you found Pegasus harder than Gemini Spark DX on LM but tbh it's really close regardless. Both bosses are absolutely absurd (and in a lot of cases unfair imo lmao). Good stuff, i haven't played this mod in almost a year so it's a bit nostalgic seeing new content for it haha.

For me it was dealing with Pegasus's GX attack. You can't block it, it freezes you, and it deals so much if you're hit you're doomed. I don't fully remember, because I fought all the DX bosses months ago when I recorded SF DX but then had a loooong grind to get all the lunar knights cards to face the last one, Andromeda, but I don't think even Invis worked against the attack. That well timed Jammer Machine Gun took me off the battlefield and allowed me to live. I THINK something like Aura or Barrier would also do the trick, but ensuring you have them when he goes to do that move is rough.

@@RockmanHQ You actually can invis it thankfully. Only problem is you basically lose if you don't have invis lmao. 2k is an absurd amount of damage to take from it and its even worse if you aren't dragon cuz then you get frozen

@@BlackBeartic229 The big jaw and slam attacks pierce Invis and imposed gravity but you get to keep the invis if you block it in time.

tbh, even on normal mode I think Pegasus is kinda absurd compared to the others I think it'll be worse probably on legend mode but anyhow, yeah

@@unofficialdontism On normal Pegasus DX is probably the hardest boss in the game yeah. Even in OG Pegasus SP was a step above the rest of the bosses

I’m fairly far into dx at what point do I get access to the other two forms without resorting to action replay to give myself brothers

I remember you get Leo at the very end of the story. Dragon I think you get after the battle with Queen Ophiuica. You don't need to cheat for brothers either. Once you get the item Lonely Heart in the last dungeon, you can brother band yourself in the mirror comp at the mall.

Once you get the Lonely Heart, you can go to the Mirror Comp in the mall and brother yourself.

There's a small custom/exclusive item in Big Wave. Talk to ken and he'll need you to go find a disk someone dropped at Ameken. From there the creators used this as a means of implimenting the JP exclusive bonuses.

They're exclusive to this mod. They were a boss from SF2 brought in.

I know this video is a year old but I need to ask how on earth do you start off with Dragon Star Force? I’m still stuck in Ice Pegasus. Also how did you even manage to make Brothers with yourself with different Satellite Admins?

It's a process to do. Once you beat the game, you can talk to a Jammer in Deep Space 1 who will change your satellite registration. After selecting one, go back to Mr Famous MK2, and he'll update your data. Then you'll start as whoever you're registered to. After you do that and are set to Dragon or Leo, you can go into the mirror in Macy's and brother yourself. Whatever satellite you're connected to will be who your brother is. In order to brother yourself, you'll need the lonely heart, which is found off an invisible wave road in one of the space station parts.

@@RockmanHQ Oh my god thank you so much for that. I already got the Lonely Heart seeing as how it was needed for Kelvin’s transer. But I never knew how to start off with the other Starforce forms.
