Zero, your mentor, your friend. Is gone. You avenged him, but you know there will be more lives lost unless you keep going. Keep fighting. Stop Sigma at any cost. Man I love this music, got me pumped as a kid.

For some reason I thought you were talking about Yuzoboy. Kinda shocked me.

And he was more than that. Zero is like a big brother to X. I agree though; this music rocks.

This track shows the intentions of the composer to transmit the melancholy and the state of "it's now or due trying" situation. With Zero "dead", X knows that the price for Him was high and there's no excuse to end the Sigma menace. This tracks wants to comunicate X feelings, the melancholy, the sense of this has to end for good and there is not return

There’s something about this song in particular compared to the other Sigma themes that gives me the feels. Maybe it’s just the fact that Zero died right before it, and now the situation feels more dire. Definitely one of my favorite songs in this game, despite having a totally different feel from the rest of the soundtrack. Also my favorite remix!

Your remixes are all godlike, but man these Genesis ones give new life to so many tracks. Genesis/Mega Drive had such an awesome sound.

I've always thought this song felt... different compared to tge other songs in the game. Could it be because it fits the Genesis soundfont so well? It's like it was made for it!

The way it opens up, kinda reminds me of the Technodrome/Krang's Starbase from _The Manhattan Project._

After reading your comment, I now want a Mega Man X/classic TMNT cartoon crossover in any form of media.

@@edwardgaines6561: Only vaguely at this point. The show felt like it was supposed to be life support of the then long-past late '80s/early '90s popularity of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.
