Right off the bat it sounds faithful to the original with the nuances, tempo, and note emphasis, sounds like a mix of capcom's NES soundfont/instruments as well as some of Konami's (ultra games) were used. Almost 4 years and I hadn't heard it yet?! Where've I been?

I love the way this song sounds. I especially like the start, because it sounds like some of the NES TMNT games. I can't think of a better match.

Missing the high pitched notes around 0:28-0:31 but I'm guessing that would have been a tad difficult to implement. Otherwise, a perfect rendition of the SNES original. :)

+SMB3264 Thank you!! Yeah, when you have only two melodic channels to work with you have to make certain decisions about what to implement and what to exclude. It's one of the challenges I enjoy about it and why I don't use expansion chips!
