This stage is completely covered by a trash compactor, so there's always the threat of being crushed. Except in the first section where there's a Ride Armor. Also, his name is supposed to be Metal Shark Prayer, mostly because of his ability to summon previous bosses. __

I used to dislike it but nowadays I think it was one of the most ok-ish levels of the game, some of the others were too easy and some of the rest were super annoying this one was oddly balanced IMO.

What can you say about this stage. Garbage...no pun intended. Thankfully, the ice floors from Blizzard Wolfang are very manageable, and better yet, they only appear in the second half of Shark's stage. Ground Scaravich's crates appears on ALL paths making an already difficult stage even worse. Metal Shark Player's gear is just not worth the trouble getting early on no matter how great they are (especially the Zero tech). Wait till you get all of the Blade Armor pieces first, make sure the ice floors from Wolfang are installed, don't equip the Ultimate Buster part since you'll need normal Ice Burst shots, and equip at least either the Hyper Dash or Jumper parts as you are going to need X to cross the only difficult part of the alternative path first. The giant pit (molten steel at the bottom?). Fire an Ice Burst shot at the edge of the platform, then Hyper Dash or Jumper jump across the pit to get the Shadow Armor piece. Rest of the alternative is easy even with the auto-scroll just as long as, 1. You use the Robot Ride Armor, and 2. no crates from Scaravich's stage. Now collect the remaining Shadow Armor pieces, then use the Shadow Armor to blaze through the main path as spike floors won't be a probably at all! And don't forget to have the ice floors installed over the crates. Remember, once a hazard is installed in a stage, you cannot remove both. It's either one or the other taking turns for the rest of the game.

Another reason to hate Mega Man 4 for the NES besides introducing the WORST incarnation of the Rush Jet adapter; the introduction of the trash compactor in Dust Man's stage that led to it being brought back in the NES Mega Man 5, Wily 1, and this abomination of a stage!

Best part about this stage is the eagle ride armor oxidizing in the background. Apart from that, fucc this level. I died a few times after skipping the teleporter to the rest of the level, THERE IS NO OTHER TELEPORTER IN THIS GAME THAT LEADS TO THE REST OF THE MAIN LEVEL WHAT THE HECK... And it didn't help that I was an idiot and kept dying at the part leading to the light capsule which I had already passed and forgot that it led to the secret boss room aaargh

This isn't the first game where you can get stuck with the only recourse is to kill yourself on purpose (go into Wily 1 of the very FIRST Mega Man game WITHOUT the Magnet Beam and see how far you go), heck, there is even Mega Man games where you have to RESET the game if you get stuck in a spot where you can't even lose a life (the room after defeating Doc Flash Man in the NES Mega Man 3 if you have run out of BOTH Rush Coil, and Rush Jet energy). But X6 is the worst offender as you can very easily get stuck in so many different places where death is the only way out, and since getting extra lives is easy in this game, let's be thankful that the NES Mega Man 4 introduced the max lives limit of 10 total (9 in reserve).

The drawback of the charged Metal Anchor is that the attack can get interrupted. So you have to be careful when activating it.

Enter Blizzard Wolfang, then come here and you get the very doable ice floors only found in the second half of the main path. Enter Ground Scaravich, then come here and you get the hell known as crates on ALL paths! Enter Shark BEFORE entering the above two, and you get no hazards. Remember, once a hazard is installed in a stage, you cannot remove both. It's either one or the other taking turns for the rest of the game.

BEHOLD!! One of the longest and hardest stages in all of Megaman X6!!! I am dead serious!! This thing had two parts, with a freaking ceiling that could crush you if you weren't careful. Also if they didn't get you, all the enemies that came left and right will! Metal Shark Player wasn't a hard boss either, but holy crap his stage was!! I died so many times in this thing!!
