I don't think you're crazy. I'm ACTUALLY looking for a Megaman X6 PS1 CD to play on my PS3, but everyone around me denies the fact that you can play PS1 games on a PS3.

Itsuki Koizumi Well, at the very least, you can always go to Amazon or E-Bay and buy Mega Man X Collection for the PlayStation 2. It features Mega Man X1-X6 and, for some odd reason, Mega Man Battle & Chase, a Mega Man racing game for the original PlayStation whose international released was canceled.

Loader2K1 X3 was also released on the PS1. However, I have digital files of X1-X6 on my computer, and my PS3 won't play PS2 CD's unless I hack it.

Makoto Yūki You are correct, but Mega Man X3 was only released on the original PlayStation in Japan and Europe only. For some unknown reason, Capcom skipped over North American PS1 owners when it came to that game. If I were to take a wild guess, I would say that Capcom thought the Super NES version would suffice for us Americans and Canadians.

YES. This sounds so, so good in a Genesis soundfont. One of the few good parts of X6 was the soundtrack. (Now don't get me wrong, I do like X6, I just think it's an Enter the Dragonfly-type deal i.e. it could have been so much better than it was.)

tokyobassist I know. X4's title screen wasn't that bad, but X5 and X6 are just a close up of a circuit lens or something. The US cover arts are just terrible, usually cropping X and Zero against a blue (or wireframe in X6) background.
