Under tab _Experimental_ you'll find the Legion faction and units currently in the works. Under tab _Extras_ you'll find the _Extra Units Pack_ containing the Scavenger units add-on for Cortex and Armada.

I'm pretty sure heat rays and laser fall off at the same rate, imo heat rays are slightly more inaccurate I think? But I'm not sure tbh.

I dont think there is method to focus heat rays currently so lasers are used instead.

@@rhysvanderwaerden5518 We can focus light to hit relatively small area over long distanses but heat rays will spread all around so they wont be effective. Compare to radiowaves where with antennas we can get pretty good directional output and lasers with almost perfect.

The apparently accuracy difference is mainly due to the extended duration of the beams. Units (both the shooter and the target) move while the heat rays fire which can make some of the duration miss (or hit other units). Different to most of the lasers that have very short duration, expect for the pre update cataphract, and the tacyon beams like pulsar.
