I really like how the newer headlight looks, but is it upside down?

Just built one of these. Love it. I barely ever have to use the choke when starting the engine. I believe you were going a little heavy on the choke

I'll never know! I sold the minibike 4 months ago
@GoCartMechYerf10 ай бұрын
In cold weather he should try the choke, not saying its a bad thing if he didn't, but just to make it easier to start, turn the lever above the fuel turn on lever towards the air filter to close the choke disk, let it warm up and turn the choke of 1/4-2/4 of the way and get her going! Something I had to do in the winter is swap back to the old jet/the smaller one to ride it in order to do the procedure I just explained. Then when it warms up, Rip around with the bigger jet!😄 Happy mini biking, GoCartMech

Thanks for reviving an old build series I did a few years ago. This bike was sold long ago.

When I did my first oil change on my tillotson 212, I was freaking out because it has those metal shavings you mentioned😂 after that I put in some Lucas motorcycle oil, I figured it’d be better then the lawn mower oil I was using lol
@NubsWithGuns8 ай бұрын
Those metal shavings are perfectly normal for a new engine and first oil change. Just be sure to change it the first few times sooner than normal, we have no filter or pressure lube so it gets shi*** pretty fast.

Great work sir looks like it will do it's needed job well just have to see if you get to enjoy it and relax when you take it on the next adventure vs what was happening with the scooter board.

That scooter was a nightmare. You never know where you would get stranded with it...glad it is gone...

As I'm sure you discovered this frame is very stable onroad. I read a comment from the man who designed it that road stability was a goal. It truly is a "mini" moto. I don't like the OEM tires, but realize you swapped them out after this video was made.
@SeanFillner2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I did not feel like fixing a 2 ply tire in the middle of the woods. 6 ply tires are less likely to let loose on you and yes this platform is super stable.
@NubsWithGuns8 ай бұрын
@@SeanFillnerAnd you are over thinking those tires, they are tougher than you imply.
@NubsWithGuns8 ай бұрын
But then it was never meant to be a road bike. Did you pull that out of your a**?

@@NubsWithGunsbike sold long ago...I do not care about the tires on it.

@@SeanFillnerI don't recall directing anything towards you about tires and do not care what you think of them in the first place.

Hay mate it's your choice to ride it, got nothing to do with anyone else, like I said before only government can here, but there are lots that ride them anyway, but be safe and enjoy, I hate those that have to winge and dob others in, because they can't do it, so I'll tell, looks like fun, all the best to you and your loved ones

If there was anything you would change ie, modifying frame, what’s your thoughts on the size, I’m an adult so this is why I ask thanks. Your Neibor from the big island, van. I’ll.

Like many other states , Doesn't Oregon require you to get a off road use sticker ? I thought they did . But I am in the land of Nuts and Fairys , California . I know Idaho requires them on off road and snow mobiles .

I am 5'10" last time I checked. I weigh about 185 on a good day...Yeah I am impressed the stuff gets here so fast from Texas of all places. I might buy another frame for a more unique build...
