Part 7 of the mega Moto build. Finishing up the assembly and first start.
Added a heat shield for the exhaust, installed the gas tank, chain, and throttle cable. Installed a mag front wheel and street tires.

Looks great man really but just a little advice I have almost the same set up as yours and at one point I had the same type of hydraulic brake however one day at 75mph they broke on me over heated so I switched to a quad caliber just day cause your bike is pretty fast

I use glass cleaner spray for tire mounting not Windex but the foam stuff in the spray can . The foam will evaporate and won’t rust anything. Works real slick ! Get it . 😊

Thanks! I found a new product. I use 303 Aerospace Protectant to mount tires. it's not petroleum based like armor all. The tire goes on easily and they are protected at the same time.

I've got a 212 hemi head 70mm. stock bored with dome piston that accommodates my 3228 Val head with 38 pound Springs ported intake to 30mm. backed up by 28mm. flat slide Mikuni,,, Billet Rod and side cover,,, Billet side cover will be replaced with a gold slip stream no fin 32 degree flywheel when running street

Couldn't you have just stripped the paint off the chain cover instead of using the wheel to grind it all off? I think would be alot cleaner (eliminate the harmful dust) and alot less effort. Also the heat sheild under the seat would look awesome chrome polished so you got a reflection from it imo! Another great video 👍

Thanks! I use flux on it to make sure the cable is really clean and then I use BernZomatic electrical solder. I make sure that the tip of the soldering iron gets the cable really hot so the solder will flow in there really good.

That's a hard question .They all have their good and bad points. I like The blue Azusa bike because its old school. But I really like riding the Doodlebug and the CC100x . The Mega Moto is cool looking but I'm not sure how good it is to ride yet. If I had to pick I think I would take the Azusa bike.

Mother's metal or aluminum polish works really well on that. You can polish it by hand with a terrycloth towel or use a polishing wheel. They have them at harbor freight
