It's common knowledge that spinning 10 Pokéstops in a row gives you a "Mega Pokéstop" bonus of double XP and at least six items, but I wanted to see how far the bonus goes. I set out to spin 100 Pokéstops in a row in Downtown Long Beach today. Plus I visited a Jugglypuff nest, and I finally have enough candies to evolve one!

Please make sure you're both happy and healthy. We (your audience) love seeing daily videos from you but we don't want editing to take over your life. Make videos when you feel it's appropriate and don't feel obligated to make them a certain length or always have tips, or always have gameplay. If you feel like taking a step back and just sitting and talking about the game, go for it. If there isn't much to talk about, but you still want to upload gameplay, that's (or just a regular vlog) awesome too. And if you need to take a break, do it. At the end of the day, this is your channel and you decide what you do on it.

It wasn't 150 exp on 20th. You just span 19th for 50, then immediately clicked on 20th pokestop and then app showed you 150 for both.

yes this is true. There is actually no additional bonus xp for spinning conservative pokestops. You got 150 exp because it was 50 + 100 exp from the 2 pokestops.

Pretty sure the twentieth pokestop gave Nick 100 exp, but since he spinned the pokestop right next to it right before and didn't wait for the 50 exp from that to register, it gave him 150 for both of the pokestops together in one go. It happens when you happen to spin two pokestops that are close together very quickly.

You'd always need low potions though. In my experience, if my Pokémon only takes a few hits during a gym battle I'd rather use a potion over a max potion. In fact, as a level 29 I don't have any Pokémon that can make the most of max potions.

Christopher Ray I used to feel the same way until I battled gyms on a regular basis. If you don't battle gyms at all, then you won't need any potions full stop.

wanted to let you know that my boys and I were excited to catch a new pokemon, Yanma. The first Yanma we caught turned into a 458 ditto. It was disappointing that the first Yanma we caught turned into a ditto, but on the plus side, I know have a 400-level ditto. We ended up catching a 600 level Yanma later in the day, so it worked out. Thank you for making great videos.

The bonus exp was from the previous pokestop, as you do a action to get exp your character immediately gets the exp but it isn't displayed until a small delay after, if you spin a pokestop then immediately spin another before the exp is displayed, when there is "time" for it to display it will combine the exp. This can be seen when evolving massive amounts of pokemon, you will get a large blip of exp upwards of 40k exp or more, or you catch several pokemon quickly and spin a pokestop you can get a blip that can say like 250 exp (2 pokemon no bonus from throws or curve) + pokestop.

Hey man, I had a weird glitch happen to me today, I spun 5 stops in a row, got the 10 bonus for only 5, and then on my 11th spin I got 7 items and 210 experience!? It was weird as heck, but I am not complaining.

Seeing stuff like this kind of makes me want to stop playing the game. Knowing that I'll never be able to have the resources that others have that live in big city centers. Knowing I'll have to spend about 1000 more hours to catch enough pokemon to evolve anything because they don't spawn that often where I live. I won't be able to get pokestop bonuses because I swear there's only 10 pokestops total within 30 miles of my house. Etc etc etc. I love the content dude, and you have a great lady that's willing to enjoy this with you. But this game wasn't made for us suburban/rural dwellers.
