I think the ban is so Niantic can keep selling raid locked legendaries as the best content for ML. They don't want megas to outperform them.

Na the size does not change the stats (There are actually exceptions such as pumpkaboo tho). Whenever Henry or anyone else refers to "XL Pokemon," what they mean is the pokemon has been upgraded with XL candy. It can also mean the pokemon has ideal pvp IVs (in the lower leagues) and therefore has been upgraded to a level high enough where it required XL candies.

Pokemon go has become extremely difficult to play way more recently and it's bugs seem to have gotten worse. Lost a couple matches because of lag and even lost a shiny Charizard on my daily insense because of crashing. Wonder how buggy gbl will be if they decide to bring this back 🤔
