​@@DReppin2009 Vendors aren't manipulating anything. A card like thrust and s:p are very common to even be able to do that. If people keeps paying for the cards, they will keep publishing thrm at those prices. If it was a conspiracy, it would be as easy as players just posting their copies for a "fair" price, but this is a free market. Buy the tin or don't buy the single if you want to punish the vendors. Those guys only want to flip stuff as fast as possible and price gouging is the opposite of that.

This is obvious, and vendors know it aswell. Best thing to do is to Not buy them now if you care that much about budget. Cards will dip the closer we get to the bonanza release. If cards are not in there, you buy them on those dates as they will be cheaper than today

Idk if this has been mentioned in another Market Watch video but Vanquish Soul Ceasar Valius, Dr. Mad Love, and Pantera have all gone up recently. Ceasar Valius is now $20, Dr. Mad Love is $13 and Pantera has shot up to $8 for the Ultras. Previously Ceasar Valius and Dr. Mad Love were only $4 and Pantera was barely a dollar, meanwhile the Collector Rares have been trending upwards too. This is what happens when you reprint only half a deck, I'm glad I bought my VS deck when I did a few months ago but I feel bad for anyone waiting for the tins to pick up the deck.

If the game is not accessable, only the hardcore will stay, and if only the hardcore stays, then the game never grows at a massive rate. Retention also matters here, because if the game is in a dogshit situation then the hardcore will leave, as we're starting to see with recent YCS attendance crashing. Bad products and shit pull rates only hurt the Players and LGS.

Tins are fine. 1) People that bought product shouldn't be punished to reward people that didn't by reprinting everything to death. Is counterintuitive to punish whales. Them finally fixing this is a good thing. 2) Chase cards of the tin will likely be in the set with more quarter century rares, so prices will dip then. 3) 40-50 Bucks for an S:P isn't even expensive. And thrust isn't even a good staple, is an optional card. It won't sustain the demand long enough. Blame people that doesn't know how to play the game properly for not owning a playset and not knowing when to actually buy one (which should be right about the bonanza).
