Just gonna dump this here, but one day I was drunk with a friends on a teamspeak and we had the greatest idea - just like a fast snail movie. A show about the end of the world, in which every episode is a different day, and all the characters don't know when the world will end. All they know is that some bullshit prophecy told the world was going to end after a certain day, in which a process would begin in the sun, eventually turning it into a blackhole. Without evidence or any sign of difference, scientists dismiss it, and we all make a 18 season show in which TODAY could be the end of the world. And in the 4th episode of some random season (18th season, probably), the screen would fade to black as some absurdist CG art is throw in, but too dark to make any sense or to anyone to actuall be able to see anything.. which is to imply the whole planet was dematerialized. Yes, the show name is TODAY. Because the end should be TODAY. And we even planned a movie called Tomorrow, to launch a week before the show which was the prologue to the series. In the movie, there's great hype about the world ending. But when the time comes, and everybody is desperate and crying in the streets, nothing happens. Everyone looks at the camera with the most cringe-worthy possible acting. Cut. Next day, everybody pretending nothing happening, life back to normal. End in a cliffhanger to the TODAY show. This has been 1 or 2 years ago, and we still lose our shit when we mention it today. Because we must have spent 1 whole hour on teamspeak talking all the details and losing our minds with the stupidity, only to agree in the end that there probably would be a reasonable audience for such a shitty show. It's basically a shitty soap opera that can end at any time, with as little philosophical thought (on the characters) present as possible. Bask in the glory of Today, my fellow Mega64 fans. And thanks for another great video.
