Godless is pretty good until the final episode which is just a walking western clique, it has a bunch of red shirt bad guys besieging a small town but they somehow come out on top despite overwhelming odds and a couple of good guys deaths. Then the chief bad guy and the good guys go off and have a duel which the good guy of course wins despite getting wounded. It was leading up to it the whole time but I kept waiting for them to eschew my expectations, but they didn't, they did the most obvious possible thing and I was really disappointed.
