Got a Madbull recently. Fished with it this afternoon for the first time. I was throwing a Berkley WakeBull 70 on a pond. It loads up so nicely! I put a Metanium DC on it and it is a dream combo to fish with! Balances right at the front section of the reel seat chuck. No hard hook sets with it today. I just reeled into them and slowly raised the rod up, letting it just load up. The trebles were buried. Perfect blend of action and power. I was surprised at the sensitivity given the “regular” action rating. Can’t wait to use it again!😂

I'm looking for a do all moving bait rod. I throw chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, topwater, and squarebills. Does this rod do it all? I've heard the guys at The Hook Up Tackle rave on it being a great junk fishing rod. Punch says it's his go to for shallow cranks and 6 foot divers. Hearing lots of mixed reviews. Is this rod worth the money? I'm a kayaker and bank fisherman. I hate taking multiple rods. Want to consolidate my collection. I've got an OrochiXX Diablo Spec R. Should i take the plunge on this rod. Seems like the Diablo Spec R and the Madbull are twins at different price points.

That has to be one of the more universal rods in that lineup. I’ve used it to throw deep cranks spinnerbaits, chatterbaits and kanata.

@@Boilermakers_92 dont like it, imo its a liitle bit too soft to pull the chatterbait out of the grass. iam trying to find a perfect chatterbait rod my entire life(2years), tried 10+ rods, right now im using the new zillion 31HRB-FL paired with 21 zilion 6.3, the best so far, nice length an tip to luanch the bait and enough power to rip my chatter out of the grass.

Would you use the madbull for jerkbaits? It’s action looks similar to the other rods from your Jerkbait video

it has a lot of power backbone, with a lot of mid bend . The power would overwork a 110 size easier but a big jerkbait would be doable, not ideal rod. I use mine for bigger cranks squarebills. Can do big walking bait and chatterbait, spinnerbait.
