From the United States my appreciation and big shout out for all those MOP folks that help save these batties lives.

Thanks Anne. SE Queensland has so many pups they're trying to export them to NSW carers, most of whom are totally full now anyway.

That's a lot of babies this year. The cocktail naming theme is very cool! What a lovely MOP, apparently he knew what to do because he had been a wildlife carer.

Nice MOP. Lucky the little is ok. I think cocktail names are good choice to name bats🍸🍹🍷.

Both of these little boys are gorgeous. Plenty’s silver face and belly when he popped out of that bag were very striking. Irish eyes looks a bit more raggedy, but he went through such a dreadful thin with his Mum🌹. This must be such a confusing time for them. That was a very lovely MOP to take Plenty to work with him.🥂🥂🖤🇨🇦

Bless the lovely MOP who safely rescued sweet, silvery Plenty O’Toole! I love when they care so much for and about the batties. ❤ Poor little Irish Eyes 😢. He is a chatty little thing! I do hope he feels better soon and figures out the feeding thing. Hard to grow big and strong if you can’t feed properly. RIP to his Mumbat 😢. Both these babies are absolutely gorgeous. I hope they are doing well in care! They have the best nurse Humumbats in you and Maggie! ❤🦇❤️

Both these babies went to other carers the next day; I can't keep any of them this season; I have too much on family-wise to commit myself to round the clock feeds, airers cluttering up my living space, and 3 months of chaos and mess while the little darlings wreak havoc on their surroundings.

Aw, Mr. Plenty is a lovely fellow! Many thanks to you, Meg, for all your hard work this busy baby season. Thanks also to the kind gentleman who bundled up this little one and called you. Irish Eyes is gorgeous boy too and so talkative! I hope they both do well.

Soooo many precious helpless little baby Batties this year... it's very concerning since the Bat Carers are already getting overwhelmed with too many Babies to have the time, money and individual needs/love and attention to give to them all, one Bat Carer mentioned if they can't find more people to train so they can help with the overwhelming amount of Baby flying-foxes this year it may come to the horrible conclusion when we have to begin Euthenizing them because there are just too many babies and not enough volunteers to care for them... that cannot happen she continued to point out in her video. She was extremely concerned about this situation which you could hear in her voice which was shaking. I wish I could get out there to Australia and help with this dire situation as I have an absolute love for these amazing Flying-Fox Bats ...every Beautiful Species of them. But I'm stuck in the US living off Social Security which really isn't "secure " by any means. If I had the money I would pack up and leave this hell-hole that I live [barely exist within is the truth] purchase a one-way ticket to Australia and offer my assistance with caring for the Batties somewhere there. ❤💡🦇🌌🌛💥

I got a call from SE Queensland coordinators today to see how many babies they could get me to take; I said I don't have any carers and I am drowning in pups myself; no imported babies here; there are a few places who are going to absorb some of the SEQLD bunch's excess.

A battie in a bag! What a sweet MOP to care for little Plenty so kindly. But Irish Eyes stole my heart with his little chirps! Hard to feed, eh? Sounds like my ex who was superciliously critical of everything he didn't cook - and he couldn't even boil water. Anyway. Is 5 babies an indication of lots of poor Mumbats meeting a bad end - or more people caring and calling for help? Thank you!

Maybe a mouth burn via mum's electrocution, has caused 'Irish Eyes' messy eating?? Just a thought. I used to like cocktails but now I prefer a yummy micro-brew gose beer way more.

Hello from America. I just found your channel and I’m absolutely fascinated. You’re doing wonderful work and those bats are the cutest things I’ve ever seen bless you and all that you do for them I’m such an animal lover. To know that there are people like you they care about bats and all the other animals you take care of. Keep up the great work
@Megabattie Жыл бұрын
Thanks Beverly Welcome to Megabattie, I put lots of information in the descriptions under the videos - so if you have questions, look for the answers there first. I also put the fate of the animal if I know it, at the time I put the video up. I may put updates there later if I find out what happened to the animal after it has left my care. There is also a Happy Outcomes playlist if you want to only watch videos where the bat survives; this is a real life channel and you get the good, the bad, the ugly and distressing, and even my oopsies. You can find further videos on an individual bat by searching in the YT search bar for Megabattie/and the name of the bat you want to follow. There is a community tab (like a mini Facebook page) on my channel - if you go to Megabattie home page, there is a menu bar across the top under the cover pic. Home, Videos, Playlists, Community, About. If you click on the community tab there are posts there where I can share pix and talk about some of the videos I put up and answer questions.
