We need a skull servant specific grass looks greener card. A grave looks deeper card if you will. Have it require a certain number of Skull Servants to be put in the graveyard for it's affect or the card backfires and all the cards have to be reshuffled back into your deck making it useless in a low skull servant deck.

@@BronzeAnalystTM That'd make it much stronger than grass for Skull Servant deck tbh. For one, it can be recycled and played again, whereas grass tend to be one play and useless after. For another, now you can run it in a 40 card deck for better consistency, and dump even more skull due to increased concentration. Honestly, I feel SS is a critical mass archtype and don't even really need this. As they release more cards, needle nest would become good enough. If there are 10 unique cards that are treated as SS in grave, then 30/40 of your deck is "it", dumping 5 would be +3-4 on average.

@King Of Games they can play past handtraps, i know but that mirror force is not gonna do anything because as i said he will probably counter it, or he will have Phoenix or masquerena to protect the boss monster or the entire board. Nibiru destroys everything on board and is basically not counterable and torrential tribute breaks the board while the opponent might not be able to counter it and doesn't have protections. I know they break ALL the minions but it's better than not accomplishing anything, and if what you're trying to do is build a deck in wich board presence is relevant enough that you can't full clear but you still want to clear the opponent with one card and be consistent (i guess you do want to be consistent because of the "playing against meta") you want way too much. There are good or at least decent control/difensive decks, even trap focused ones but putting in mirror force is uselles, the battle traps era has long finished

i started playing skull servants once wightmare came out, first i used generic zombie support sometimes adding a bit of lightsworn, then switched to a magical merchant chaos deck using bls and sorcerer with things like cyber valley and necro defender to protect myself, i never stopped playing zombies, but im excited to get back to this deck with baking. i recall getting huge gains with fiend comedian back in the day, that was always hilarious.

I'm sorry, I love my skull servant deck. It's a monster. No extra deck needed. Old school, DAMN strong, almost unbeatable, terrifying to be on the business end of.

I've been playing Skull Servant for maybe like 8 years as a pet deck, and I'm honestly SO EXCITED about Wightbaking. It's going to help the deck get even faster, honestly the worst thing about him is he's going to be an easy 3 of I don't know how to cram him into the deck because there's already so many 3 ofs (Ladyx3, SSx3, KoSSx3, Wightprincex3, Wight Princessx3 and so on) The real problem with Wights is that they're extremely reliant on their normal summon, so the hit to Called by the Grave was pretty rough when Ash is at 3. You ideally wanna start with Shiranui Solitaire and tribute for Uni-Zombie, dump Mezuki, then go into Omega. Or you can dump Wightprince (which dumps a Lady+Servant on hitting the GY). If you don't open Solitaire or Uni-zombie, your next best opener is to normal Wightprincess, dumping Prince which dumps the Lady+Servant. If you have Burial From a Different Dimension in hand, you can instantly summon a King from deck via Wightprince's effect (banish himself and 2 "Skull Servants"), activate Burial and he's 3K. Your win condition is solely King and the best way to build the deck I find is to focus entirely on cards that will get him out ASAP. That's not a once per turn effect either, which I think is crazy because although the banish is cost, you can fairly easily move them back with things like Burial, Omega, Wightmare, etc. The other cool thing is that this deck has some unique advantages. You virtually always stay below the activation condition for Nibiru, Ogre is relatively useless against it, it can take advantage of all the Zombie control options including Doomking Balerdroch with all his negates. I haven't tried a variant with him yet, but I'm going to cook something up now that Wightbaking is coming- Appolousa is a real problem against the deck and Balerdroch can both chainblock, and force Apple's negate to target Balerdroch so it doesn't get banished. If you can force out that one negate, you should be able to just swing over it in most cases. Anyways, that's my 2 cents. Could be a good rogue deck after Wightbaking releases, but even if not, it'll always be fun.

I really like skull servants since you could immediately see what you'd be building for. And when legacy of the duelist came out I hadn't played yugioh in years so it was the first like "damn son!" deck I made. Nothing amazing but really fun

I've always ben interested of playing a necromancer in every game i can just to see how well it functions but in yugioh was hard to do so because there were just too many cards to choose from

Been playing around with the deck lately thanks too wight baking and surprisingly it is a lot of fun. Probably my second favorite deck to run for fun, For those wanting some ideas for the deck i am currently running a copy of Rhynosaber the mad-dash armory which allows me with its effect to go into either both number 13 and 31 or Saros Eresh Kurnugias.

Oh god, I thought nobody would ever bring up my favorite archetype! I can say that while Grass is more or less out of the picture (and Slash Draw, was *really* good for the deck), I've had a pretty good experience with mashing them with Lightsworns. Their self-milling is good for graveyard decks and they have oddly good compatibility with the Skull Servants. I also liked calling the deck "Wightsworn".

I always loved Skull Servant for some reason. Its kind of like how Kuriboh was found endearing, it is so weak it is almost cute. In fact it kind of is cute with the original art style, sure I wouldn't cuddle it like Kuriboh but it is friend-shaped. Even after I got rid of the hundreds of thousands if not millions of Yugioh cards I had, I kept my Skull Servant in a fancy card case. Sadly it has been misplaced with all the moving I have had to do, though I hope to find it again one day.

I picked up Master duel recently because of my friends. I always loved the KO Hartz replays found on KZbin involving Skull Servants. I myself run a Skull servant deck though I don't use Grass. My deck instead uses gravity bind, Waboku, and Needlebug nest. In a game where your win condition 95% of the time is lowering your opponent LP to 0, gravity bind halts a lot of decks in their place unless they're links specialized. Waboku just generically buys me a turn and maybe saves my on field monsters. Needlebug nest... is 50/50, I've had 1 duel where it set me up for immediate victory, and the several more where it did jack all or pitched my ash and Nibiru to the grave.

For skull servant you can use tech cards like Gozuki or Samurai Skull to do a 1 card combo. Dump wight baking into the GY Add 2 cards in hand(almost always wightprince + wightmare), Dump wightprince, Dump 2 (skull servant + lady in wight) Use wightprince effect, banish (skull servant + lady in wight), summon "King of Skull Servants" Use wightmare to summon "Lady in wight" from banish zone in defence. Bam, now you have a Gozuki/Samurai skull, a 2000 ATK "Skull servant king" and a "Lady in wight" on the field . Lady in wight won't protect either Gozuki or Samurai skull wich is good. Since their effects would go off if they get destroyed. King of Skull Servant is safe from backrow effects and cannot be destroyed by battle. You can extend the combo by having a spell card or trap to bring wight baking to the field. There is a high chance that wight baking will be destroyed during your opponents turn. Which is good, because you can then draw another wightprince and maybe a wightprincess. Where wightprincess can lower a lot of big monsters attack.
