I'm sorry but I can't, I won't. Ever heard the original Pantera? It ain't what you're thinking. Sounded kinda like AC DC, who I like , but still. I like Pantera but it's not like Megadeth . I like both for different reasons but I prefer Dave's songwriting, and MD's overall sound a bit more than Metallica. Plus Hammett is no one's favorite guitarist and Lars is a hack drummer. I cant say that about any version of Megadeth.

Asking Dave Ellefson about his ex-band Megadeth (more graceful response for sure). ...and in other videos Jason Newsted is always talking about his time and sad departure from Metallica, while he's been writing excellent music before and since. Same with Steve Vai and Whitesnake, Sammy Hagar and Van Halen, Mick Mars and Motley Crue.... I mean, jesus f-ing christ... Why can't people simply move on?

Dave Mustaine's history with Metallica Was in the band for two years, but goes on for forty years saying that he was in the band and wrote a few songs. With Dave saying that they'd be nowhere without his music makes it seem like he's not happy with his own success with Megadeth - which is quite vast by itself, going forty years - but is also trying to steal James and Lars' success for himself as well. Also... "Any man who must say, "I am the Alpha", is no true alpha." In relation to Dave claiming to be the alpha male in Metallica, when he was in it.
