I met him once. And yes he is extremely intelligent and very sweet. Lol, I met him and I couldn’t speak. I met the band, and the band was trying to make me speak. But I was star struck. And they were like “whatever!”. But Dave, pulled me to the side. And he quietly spoke to me. He is so nice. He answered my questions and he asked me questions. But he is a kind hearted person. U can tell right off the bat. That he had a hard time in life. So he is one of those people who will help someone out. And he is also so smart. Just the way he carried himself and spoke and everything. He is a true gentleman. He had given me some stuff. Like a necklace, tshirt, etc. They were all Megadeth logo merch. And he also gave me beer. So we shared a beer or two together. I wish I could express how much of a nice and smart guy Dave Mustaine is. I wish everyone could have an opportunity to meet him. Because he really is good people. ☺️

I'm so glad that Dave has continued to write and perform as millions of Megadeth fans and now their kids and possibly grandkids are getting to see and hear what an incredible band they are. And let's not forget about how cool Kennedy is and remember her from MTV back in the 90's. She was different from the other VJ's. She was real. Not a front for the cameras, just a lover of music with whit, and an edge of nerdy and playfulness to her character. I always thought she was relatable.

There's an incident from a U2 book (U2-At the End of the World 1994) where Kennedy and an MTV producer are mingling backstage at a New Zealand gig in '93. She runs into drummer Larry Mullen Jr and states that her dream date would involve both Larry Mullen Jr AND Senior on the same date. After he shrugs that off she spots the recently divorced Edge and asked him for a date. After he embarrassingly says "I don't know what to say..." she points to her 'less than flattering' chest and says "These...are Real!" 😊😂

Tears fill my eyes as I write this. I remember that night in 1994 when I was working at Webster Hall in NYC. I was 20 years old at the time, and it was an incredibly busy day. I saw Dave Mustaine in the main ballroom, up in the balcony area. I was in shock and so happy to see him. MTV's security initially didn't want me to approach him, but Dave Mustaine said it was okay. I was speechless and could only manage to say "thank you" before I had to go back to work. I can't believe I stumbled upon this video on KZbin by mistake. This memory still stays with me, and I just turned 50 on July 22. Thank you, Dave! You are a wonderful person. It's great to see Kennedy from MTV now on Fox News. God bless!
