A Chara fight would be useless in my opinion. Chara doesn't have a real form until the end of the genocide so you can't fight them, and at this moment, Chara is literally unbeatable.. like you really CAN'T beat them. Moreover, Chara wouldn't get anything out of a fight with you, you're the player, you can't be destroyed or beaten and Chara doesn't really care about killing you, they just want you to realise that what you've done is horrible and punish you for it (other than the destruction of the world, the true pacifist ending post genocide). Even tho it would be cool to see how hard the fight would be, I think it's better to play fangames of this fight because if it really happens officialy one day, it would be really bad for the story

I’m not a huge Megalovania fan, but I can’t get enough of this song! Megalovania is a great angry, no-holds-barred fight song. On the other hand, this song sounds almost playful until that down-and-dirty electric guitar kicks in. Later the playful melody returns, above a stormy swirling bass line. Apparently, fighting is just like playing for Chara. Those contrasting emotions really make this song great!

I've interpreted Chara as sort of the one who went along with the human. On most first genocide runs, the player has already finished true pacifist, and really feels bad killing everyone, but does it anyway because it's a route/ friends tell them to do it. When Chara first sees frisk and the actions their taking, they believed all frisk wanted to murder everyone in their path without a second thought. Chara doesn't know of the players feelings towards their actions, only frisk's. So at the end, when you choose not to erase the world, Chara is quite surprised as the human would seemingly never make this decision. So they made the call to do what the human would have wanted, erase, not the player.
