A Chara fight would be useless in my opinion. Chara doesn't have a real form until the end of the genocide so you can't fight them, and at this moment, Chara is literally unbeatable.. like you really CAN'T beat them. Moreover, Chara wouldn't get anything out of a fight with you, you're the player, you can't be destroyed or beaten and Chara doesn't really care about killing you, they just want you to realise that what you've done is horrible and punish you for it (other than the destruction of the world, the true pacifist ending post genocide). Even tho it would be cool to see how hard the fight would be, I think it's better to play fangames of this fight because if it really happens officialy one day, it would be really bad for the story

I’m not a huge Megalovania fan, but I can’t get enough of this song! Megalovania is a great angry, no-holds-barred fight song. On the other hand, this song sounds almost playful until that down-and-dirty electric guitar kicks in. Later the playful melody returns, above a stormy swirling bass line. Chara was depressed because humans abused her so she climbed the mountain for "not a very happy reason" as asriel said. asriel found her and brought her home, they had made pie but confused cups of butter with buttercups (yellow flowers). After that she laughed because the king was sick,why? Cause when you are sad, or dying you laugh the pain away. Just like undyne when she was almost dead, or other creatures you kill. Chara wanted to kill herself to let the king get her soul. She died on the bed and when you go into "new home" you find a bed that says "if you fall asleep you might never get up again". Asriel brought her to the surface but the humans attacked. So he turned around and went back. He died so did chara. She was buried under the yellow flowers you land on. But asriel turned into flowey. Now because asriel had both his and her soul the both lost them because of death. Flowey had no soul, neihter did chara. So when you fall down your determination wakes chara. Now you both share a soul. She follows you and if you kill everything her soul(your soul) gains power and she becomes evil.(only at the end). She wants your soul for her own. Idk the rest and sorry for making this super long,i just wanted to explain it. as best as I understand it, Chara's kinda the narrator during the game. If you show them mercy thru the pacifist run, they kill no one, make jokes, and keep you company "it's you!\Still just you, Frisk". Opposite is true for no mercy runs "just keep fighting, Sans looks tired," etc. Kinda like showing a kid the right or wrong way. Also (and this is just a theory) the line "since when were you the one in control?" seems like rhetoric (a question asked to make a point), as you the player have always been in control, but at the end of no mercy, you want to spare the world you made empty. Also, end of no mercy- if you choose "move onto the next" they just kill you (so you can move on to the next world) or you can choose to spare. Chara asks you if you think you're above consequences and so on- (it's been sometime since I played but-) don't they only take your soul if you decide to reset, and bring everyone back? To me (at least) at that point it's like "well, Frisk- I kinda need a soul so I can reset again." Hah I'm rambling... But yeah- love your explanation btw!

She followed you and she shared it with you. After all that she wanted your soul to be free again. Also genocide is when it's the "erase the world" ending but it's no mercy where everything you run into you have to fight:)
