Thanks for watching! Please subscribe for more film and acting content! Would appreciate the subs from all of you watching! Hopefully this gets people to see Megalopolis, as much as there is division, the hope of the film is to have as Coppola says, and as Adam Driver's character says in the film, "have a debate about the future!" I believe like Coppola on the hopefulness and creativity of the human spirit to excel into the change we need. The people will be the ones to bring change not our false leaders. See the film and hope it brings you the spark to create the world you wish to live in! 📽️

I was there, and people were very, very nervous! And taking it out on Francis, and his slightly loose answers, which did seem cruel...
@joelchicoshow4 ай бұрын
I think people were laughing at the geriatrics of these old men and their responses to the questions. Perhaps just the way they answered were kind of comical, the octopus part was amusing. But hopefully they actually understood the purpose of the film and it's importance to the art of cinema. And Coppola's perseverance to keep making good art that transcends stereotypical norms! It's a bold swing that deserves a cinematic experience!

Thanks for uploading this. I sought this out because I had read something about the interview being embarassing for Coppola. Aside from the surprising glitch to not remember "Rebel Without a Cause" -- kind of like calling Coppola's films "The Grandfather" and "The Grandfather Part II" -- I thought he was normal and thoughtful through the interview. But I am commenting here to agree with those who found the audience behavior shocking, bizarre, and disturbing. Coppola is a fearless filmmaker - *hahaha* - Haitians are the kindest people - *hahaha* - Let's use our time remaining to talk about the future - *hahaha* - humans are a creature of creativity and genius - *HAHAHA*. Each of the three on the stage have achieved more individually than that entire audience put together. So incredibly disrespectful and ignorant. Makes me want to stay away from the movie theater! That's the Toronto crowd, I suppose?
@joelchicoshow3 ай бұрын
@@njkpopper thanks for watching! Yeah I agree! There were indeed some moments of the whole interview being comical, but there were a bunch of immature moments from certain audience members. But hopefully those of us who understand Coppola's true message beneath the film get what he was doing with the film. There are many layers and themes present that might slip by most viewers.

Some films are hated in their initial release. Then, later on are considered to be great works of art. I suspect this will be one of them. It’s hard to understand and requires more than one viewing. This was true for 2001 a space Odyssey and Francis Ford Coppola’s one from the heart. Even Heaven’s Gate is a respected film now.

Trump, as a Democrat, voiced the same "America First" beliefs and desires back then as he does now and the left loved him. When Trump was a Democrat, most Democrats said what he says now about illegal migration hurting Americans. As a matter of fact, President Clinton even talked of it in a State of the Union Address. RFK Jr. and Trump are right, this is not the Democract party of John Kennedy. Ronald Reagan saw it before Trump and Bobby, he said he didn't leave the Democract party, it left him.
