Hey guys! Thank you for watching! Any recommendations on the new narrator, any room improvement or suggestions?

Hi, a suggestion for the next videos would be looking for more accurate paleoart, cause in this video some were good and some weren't, and I'm not referring to the outdated depictions of Megalosaurus, but most importantly, please, never use that AI garbage I saw a couple of times through the video

0:49 Not just any part of the Biblical giant either; its original scientific name was "Scrotum humanum." Personally, I'm glad Buckland decided to change that. Also, thanks for including the history of Megalosaurus's interpretation--that idea about it existing to "decrease animal suffering" by killing old animals, while obviously wrong, is a fascinating idea.

no, a bone being nicknamed scrotum humanum as a meme name because it looks like a ballsack does not equal purposefully giving something a binomial name

I feel bad that Megalosaurus spent decades as a "trash bag" genus. For the longest time Megalosaurus was getting grouped with any kind of medium to large theropods like allosaurs and tyrannosaurs. Or if there was a medium or bigger sized theropod and we didn't know what it was, they'd just say "fuck it" and call it a megalosaur or Megalosaurus until further notice. Also, an AI must've made the image at 2:53, because it has *way* too many teeth and what looks like two nostrils on the same side.

William Buckland was primarily an Anglican Minister. Although a Creationist, he admitted he wasn't sure how the Megalosaurus fit into the timeline of the earth.
