That is construction in every country but america, buddy. Don't work abroad if you are threatened by people doing uncouth things with their machines, because I've worked in south Africa on an excavator, a crane in Puerto rico(recent) and sifting in Australia, lemme tell you, OSHA doesn't exist except in America and the way people run their machines out there in the rest of the world is pretty similar to this video right here xD
@wmden12 жыл бұрын
That was a very good trailer, at one time. Looks to me line they could have made a heavy tow bar, loaded one of those mining trucks with dirt, put the tow bar on the dozer and hooked it behind the truck and eased it where they were going, with less danger of an accident, or tearing the truck and trailer up. Maybe 2 trucks, if needed.

I thought instead of building a ramp that just got squashed why not just use the dozer to make a long shallow trench and drive the trailer into it then the dozer just drives on at "ground" level?

That dozer has worked harder than a ugly stipper with 3 C-section scares. This is what heavy duty mining does to this equipment. And its probably been rebuilt 3 or 4 times. Honestly if they told me it had 60,000 hours on it, I wouldn't be surprised. When we where Australia in 2012 we went to a Iron Ore mining company and took there Industry insider tour. Honestly, I thought I that I went back in time to the CAT plant in Illinois in the 1990's. Until they took us to the Volvo side of the shop. There repair facility made a Richie Brothers sale in Florida look like a Pilot truck stop. Ive never seen so much equipment in one place, and that was just the equipment that was there to be serviced, or need heavy duty repairs that they felt need done at the shop and not on sight in the mine it self. And a side note. At that time 76% of there operator's where female. And 38% of there mechanics where also female. Those Aussie chics are some " BAD ASS" Ladies.
