Man this boss was hard, so many tries before I made it. But the feeling when I did it, stil remember the shivers.

basically, depending on how you fight, you will eventually gain a style to correspond with your fighting tactics (like shield style for utilizing good defense). you can also level up your style to get NaviCust programs with special effects like a reflector or increased buster effectiveness

@toxcic666 the combo is like this: plantman->stepsword/stepcross->sensor. when navi/virus is hp low. use the program adv(Stepsword,herosword,Stepcross) keep in mind. the rest of the slot is for adding more chip.

to get shadow style you have to set an invis, mole, or shadow chip as your regular and use it in EVERY battle.

What i did is i had 4 "pawn" chips in my folder, (each have 90 attack i believe and cant be broken by the claws) I put 1 of those directly infront of alpha and press A and keep attacking until either vanishes or destroyed by laser, or use the first stage of meteor, the likely hood of it hitting alpha is HUGE it auto targets to him 9/10 times for me, other than that i heard that wind soul's power charge is useful too...

for the Elemswrd PA, you need fireswrd, aquaswrd, elecswrd, and bambswrd. I recommend buying them from higsby, seeing as he sells all of them with the right chip codes xD

When I reched Alpha it tooked me like 30 tries to beat him, but if you have the style with the tornado thingie and the machine-gun(for some strange reason I don´t remember the name), this guy is easy.

i think the best way to beat him to go heat bug style, whcih i have, make sure u have the bug whrer ur buster is maxed, and try to get the hp drain, keep blasting him, while dodging his attacks, then set up some pawns and rndom meteors, finished him in like 40 secs

heat custom style, sweet I took out alpha with aqua custom I broke down the cover with charge shot(bubbler)and used DuexHero and MstrStyle PAs along with stepcross and such to get on the core

What ive learned when I play this boss is that meteor reaally helps....I mean seriously! A bunch of meteors focusing on one dude that does 100 damage a meteor! but good vid! That was fast

heres a cheap combo: use sensor 3 and variable sword's elemental sonicattack. Combo for variable swords attack is B B left down up.

dude, you know since you're lava type megaman, if you used lava-stage, you would never die because Alpha doesn't hit often enough to get you below 1hp

hmm the first time i fought alpha i didnt know anything about the program advances but i still beated him with a pretty ok folder but that was years ago..maybe 3?

I usually figure to not go for a speed through with Alpha since you don't get a reward(other than beating the game)so I just use metal stage and then take my time with whatever deck I feel like. But I must admit, charge shot(along the lines of wind or fire)plus Totems and StepSwords is a really good strategy against him. You probably could've dominated him quicker had you had a Metal Stage in there because it looked like the broken panels slowed you down a little.

not as cheap as the stepcross PA =P, also.. here's are two of my favorite utterly cheap combinations and the tactics for it! Areagrab x2 + Elemswrd + atk +30 (set the stage to gras. areagrab all the way to the opponent's back line, then lock it with a rook. follow up by changing your own stage to snctry, then use lifeaura =P. finally, use elemswrd+30, and because of the prism each hit's damage is doubled. also because of the grass stage, the fireswrd is also doubled! use it on gras based foes)

I love this game.. but IT WAS SO HARD KILLING THE BASS WHICH IS THE STRONGET THING IN GAME. He had a 200 life aura and so freaken hard to hit lol.

I've always found agile bosses to be more challenging than staionary ones. Like Beast Man (Well, the 2nd boss) took about 7-10 tries, Alpha being about 4. I was to stubborn to make a better deck to fight him.

As far as tough bosses on these games go, nothing beats bass.(BN4-BN6) Alpha is somewhat tough, but gregar sp is more difficult.

Program advances are the best way to beat alpha. Get antidmg M antinavi M and marumasa M and it does about 1500 damage on him

If you had a Life Aura and all possible Anti-Damage (Chip limit), and of course Bodyguard PA, normal Alpha is the easiest enemy in the game. I even had more trouble with Beastman than with him..

No. Ultra Easy Cheap way to beat *most* anything. Use wood style (guts preferred) Get Undrshrt Use grass stage chip. Stand on grass panel and megabust the target to deletion.

Maybe I should use this comment on another video but this is best time as ever. 1) Blue version I believe kicks ass vs white for one reason: The chip that restocks your whole deck of chips vs. white with navi recycle... Come on thats just lame in my opinion. Otherwise when I beat this final boss I used the exclusive blue version only- flame shadow megaman. EPIC! :)
