How, in x4 and x 5 are 50, 50 like in X4 if you pick x than he is the one betrayed by double he is the one who does most things that zero do, he is the one who questions the possibility of turning maverick, and in x5 it is to resolve the conflict between the two, the only game in the series that one character has more spot light than the other is axl in megamanx7

Watching this intro... hearing this music ... you have to imagine a 13 year old boy, who's played X1-X3, loved them, and waited eagerly for X4 to come out, for months. You have to imagine him finally getting his parents to buy it for him, taking the excited trip come from the game store, popping the CD into a brand new PS1... and getting hit with this intro. CHILLS. Everything about this still electrifies me to this day, because you have to imagine what a huge graphics jump from SNES to PS1 was.

This was my childhood, partly. Something very quite revered. To see this opening again makes my heart feel like a child, thinking of how awesome so and so was, how cool the animation was, or how many times I'd play with toy swords and whack at weeds like they were badguys. The wonders of music and what it does for the soul is absolutely amazing. Whomever uploaded this, I thank you for the sweet memories of a childhood long lost.

I knew in the back of my mind when I first got the game decades ago that Sigma would appear, and especially the first cinema where General was like "Nah man." to the shadowy figure. I still will say, the fight with Sigma in this game was the best Sigma battle of all. His second form after you burned away his cloak, was the REAL Sigma, and the only time in the whole series you could face his actual body no frills with the exception of MMX1.

Three times I can think of where I liked the American opening better. This game, Tales of the Abyss and Wild Arms 2 second disc opening. This song just feels like a Mega Man song to me. I don't consider it generic at all.

ExodusCore Music doesn't need lyrics to be good. The tempo and godlike rhythm in this song makes it much better than the Rockman X4 one. Not to mention this song just fits the feel of the game a lot better

Bring back memories, this was one of the first game I ever got for the PS1...when I heard it was going to be released on the PS1 with the 32 bit graphics I know I had to get it! This is probably the best and my favorite Mega Man game!

Dude, I LOVE THIS INTRO. The well thought out melody and harmony, and you definitely get a kind of tech-y, cyber feeling from the instruments used. It's so serious and dramatic, like at 0:47 when Zero and Colonel clash swords and the music goes along with them. It sends shivers up mah spine, man!

The songs is so upbeat and happy for an otherwise tragic plot the game has. It seems to lure players into a false sense of security before pulling the rug. X has an existential crisis about ending up a Maverick, and Zero is emotionally traumatized by the end of the game.

Nostalgia'd. I recall back from when my dad gave me my 1st PS1 and some games, MMX4 was among them. I remember spending a good while trying to pass even the simplest stages, resulting in utter failures at the beginning xD As time passed, though, i got better and better :3 This series, in my opinion, has it all: Good gameplay, good storyline...i might be missing a few points but you get me xD

@TharisB what i said in my other post is also why the following can be noticed: the opening for X5 shows flashes of previous games throughout the X series as if its recalling everything before wrapping it all up, Dynamo has no further character development after X5 beyond being a mere optional boss in X6, and the opening for X5 features lots of dramatic Zero moments (e.g. half of his face when he opens and closes his eye) which is like paying him respects because he is supposed to die
