8. Frost Walrus - It is very chilling but, it overtakes the theme. 7. Split Mushroom - He barely loses to Storm Owl but, his theme sounds like some very dramatic vibe and adventurous vibe too. 6. Storm Owl - This is what Crash Man's theme should've sounded like ugh, but, it's still fairly average on all scales. 5. Web Spider - It has this jungle adventurous feeling and rhythm and it makes you wonder what mysteries are ahead of you, overall good. 4. Slash Beast - Has this epic feeling inside making you think what you should do next and explore your heart out like you won a final battle or something. (This seriously should've been an ending theme.) 3. Cyber Peacock - Very mystifying sound and very futuristic. (This should've been a Rainbow Road theme.) 2. Magma Dragoon - It has a lot to work with when you think about it, and it also is very fitting to the stage itself. 1. Jet Stingray - Basically Squid Adler's faster, cooler cousin.

Actually, Dragoon was originally a Maverick Hunter, but he later defected to Sigma's side after Sigma offered him a chance to fight X or Zero in exchange for sabotaging the Sky Lagoon.

8. Jet Stingray: It fits the stage at least, but it feels a bit too... happy for such an irritating stage. 7. Split Mushroom: I like the tense feel of this one, but it sounds a little messy halfway through, almost as if the song gets cut off. 6. Slash Beast: The beginning perfectly compliments the stage, and it has an enjoyable beat, but it feels like it drags on as the song goes along. 5. Frost Walrus: Perfectly fitting for an ice themed stage. 4. Web Spider: I love how tense this one sounds. It feels very... foreboding, as if to say the jungle is full of danger. 3. Storm Owl: Something about this song just fits being so high in the sky. It has a very grand feel to it. 2. Cyber Peacock: That beginning is great stuff, and the ominous, almost somber feeling of the whole song makes it a wonderful listen. 1. Magma Dragoon: Badass incarnate. Fits the volcano, tense the entire way, and gets you pumped up for fighting Dragoon.

Hell yeah now we're talking. My favourite X game also has my favourite soundtrack in the series. 1. Cyber Peacock - Just so beautiful and coputer sounding. IT'S AMAZING! 2. Jet Stingray - Fast paced and intense. 3. Slash Beast - Nice tune and catchy. 4. Storm Owl - Another epic tune. 5. Frost Walrus 2 - Chilling ice theme. 6. Magma Dragoon - Fits for a fire level. 7. Web Spider - I guess it suits the jungle. 8. Split Mushroom - Nothing too special.

Cyber Kujacker's theme is almost orgasmic, and yes, one of the best themes in the entire Megamanverse. : D But, I also REALLY like Split Mushroom's theme too, it fit so wonderfully to the design of his stage, it was instant nostalgia material.

X4 is my favorite PS1 Megaman X, also i love some tracks of it. also my first Megaman X played untill finishing it. Favorite tracks: Web Spider Jet Stingray Slash Beast and another great thing about this one, the music Fits perfectly to every level, lets put an example,cyber peacock BGM sounds uhm very Cyber and technologic, g great video and 5 stars ^^

8. *Frost Walrus* - It has that ice level charm, I guess, but it's not for me. 7. *Split Mushroom* - Average. 6. *Storm Owl* - Gets you pumped. 5. *Cyber Peacock* - Sounds both technological and dark at the same time, so it fits. 4. *Slash Beast* - It's very memorable and has a nice melody. 3. *Web Spider* - I really like how it mixes jungle instruments with electronic sounds. 2. *Jet Stingray* - Tense and catchy. 1. *Magma Dragoon* - It's catchy, dark, intimidating, fitting and even cheerful at times. Hmm, discovered this vid rather late... Anyway guys, I really wouldn't say that some tracks rock or suck. All I can say is, the music folks at Capcom did a great job in making the audio match the stage setting perfectly. All of them are awesome in their own right. For those wondering how to get the audio tracks... this is what I did (long long ago). The audio tracks are saved as .bgm files on the CD. Rename them as .wav and encode as mp3. Works like a charm.

So... Much... NOSTALGIA! AHHHH! IT BURNS LIKE THE SUNS RAYS! Like damn, I remember sitting around at my Grandmothers house watching my older cousin play this game and fail miraculously and restart every other day since we didn't have a memory card. This game was so much fun... Where do I begin with this overly biased list.... oh yeah! 8. Frost Walrus - Okay, one of the few themes I can look at and shout MEH but still. It is very impressive and even the winter theme in the outskirts sounded pretty good (But probably just nostalgia). Man, do I miss those days... 7. Storm Owl - Well, this is a theme I could never really enjoy but I still find it amazing and powerful. If I had the ability to fly, I'd play this song everywhere. Anyways, don't really like it as much as the others though. 6... Uh... Guys I found a problem... I like all the themes way too much. Well, I have a solution for that. *Split Mushroom* - Though I hold very little nostalgia for this stage, this theme is an instant classic. Having an ominous feeling in the back but a powerful stand to keep on moving through the endless amounts of enemies. This bastard is one of the few maverick guys in the game but he is still pretty cool. His theme is held in my heart. *9/10* *Web Spider* - Mostly nostalgia speaking since we always picked this guy first to get the hover shoes first. Anyhow, the first few parts of the songs don't really sound all the interesting but it gets better mid-way through. Especially with that late 80s/early 90s guitar thrown into the mix near the end. Sold the song for me. *8/10* *Jet Stingray* - F*** this guy, F*** his stage, F*** him! I broke my controller playing this damned level... I apologize for that. Anyhow, no matter how bitter I am towards this guy, his stage theme is probably the most interesting in the game and even when playing the stage, it gave me the urge to keep going. This song legit makes everything more epic. Trust me. *10/10* *Slash Beast* (AKA, Slash Mans long lost cousin) - I never had many memories with his stage but that keyboard or whatever sold that song. It manages to be both chill and upbeat giving the player a sense of excitement to keep on going (Even though your jumping around on a train that is falling apart) which is really fun. *8.9/10* *Cyber Peacock* (AKA, the first internet troll) - This guys theme wasn't really interesting until I listened to it a lot more. It has so much depth to it. I wish I knew what the instrument was in the background because it sounds EPIC! That part at 18:18 - 18:40 is probably the most memorable for me. *9/10* *Magma Dragoon* (AKA, the irregular one) - So, this guys theme generally gets ignored by me but I still find it creepy but very fitting for a volcano stage. That's all I'm going to say because it is WAY to short. *7/10* *Colonel/General battle themes* - Probably some of the best boss music you will hear in any platform video games. Trust me. *Boss music* - This as well. *Final Weapon 1* - This is actually my favorite theme from this game and it shows. Next up is X5... and I haven't played X5 yet so this will be... interesting to say the least...

Megaman X4...I think it's the best X game behind Megaman X1. The Soundtrack is kind of cool... 8.Split Mushroom (I'm not into this theme) 7.Web Spider (A bit better than Split Mushroom) 6.Jet Stingray (Fast paced, But I dunno...) 5.Storm Owl (Nothing Special, Just Okay) 4.Frost Walrus( the 1st part is just atmospheric,but the Second part is much better) 3.Slash Beast ( I like it a lot. It gives you an adventurous feeling, and I like it) 2.Cyber Peacock ( Awesome! I love it.) 1.Magma Dragoon (While it doesn't have that fire feeling, I think it's the best Maverick theme in the game. i also tough about that... from guns and roses (neon tiger's level with "my michelle") to some techno... but it wasn't that bad... reamember that was like that 'cuse it was multi console and the saturn's sound handeling wasn't too strong (they say but i still can't find a diference)... but they fix that on the next enters to the series souch zero saga (lisn't well andin zero 2 the jungle sounds a lot like "welcome to the jungle" from guns and roses)
