i remember when this game was featured in Video and Arcade Top 10. (an old series that was aired in Canada back in the 90's. 4 kids would play a video game in question, but they'd also be playing for a viewer at home. if memory serves me properly, the winner of the "competition" in question, was whoever got the furthest in the game (or got the most points if that wasn't an option) and not only would that kid get a copy of the game, the viewer they were playing for would get one as well. my name was drawn for this game, and the kid playing on my behalf won, thus i got a free copy as well.

I always thought this to be one of the easiest..I agree mega man and mega man 2 are quite difficult and probably most challenging of all series
@Animebryan22 жыл бұрын
The first Mega Man is unquestionably the most difficult of the classic series, simply because it was the 1st entry of the series and there wasn't an established way of doing things. However, if you include ALL the games from the classic series, then Mega Man & Bass would be the hardest.
@mk2mister22 жыл бұрын
@@meekd53 Funny you mentioned that. I thought Mega Man 2 was the easiest of them all. The first Mega Man is one of the tougher ones for sure. But after watching many longplays of Mega Man 4 is that it is really tough if you don't use the other weapons and just stick to using the mega buster through most of the game. Mega Man 2 and 3 can be beat much more easily by using the mega buster throughout the stages (except for the bosses of course). I hope I makes sense.

Y'all need to get some Mega Man 9 and 10 in your lives lol. I would put 8 as the hardest for me. If you're just counting the 6 on NES though then I see what everybody is saying. It also depends on how much you play these games for which becomes the most difficult. If you are coming in cold, on a first play through, I think MM1 is the hardest but if you're already warmed up, it's almost trivial.

Awesome, first a link to the past and now the continuation of the mega man series my all time favorites from my personal golden era of gaming. This channel is awesome. Just two more mega mans and Castlevania’s to go to complete the circle lol. I don’t even watch tv anymore I fall asleep to this channel playing through all its videos every night on my tv. My nes collection includes about 500 games most bought when I was younger and the system was out and throughout the years. I had all the nes mega mans 1-6 bought when they released (I was a older kid with a job in the late 80’s so I’d buy a handful of games every couple weeks and built a massive collection). Unfortunately after I retired from the military a few years ago mega man 1 and 5 went missing in the move back home and now they are ridiculously expensive which is asinine these aren’t rare by any stretch of the imagination just people artificially inflating price. Sorry I’m not paying rare game prices for games that literally were million plus print runs and are everywhere. I’m pretty sure movers jacked them to sell on eBay it sucks I like playing on the original system and they were some of my most prized games.

First time I ever played this game was as part of the Anniversary Collection for PS2. Aside from the 6 NES games, it had 7, 8, and brought in two Arcade-exclusive titles -- Power Battle and Power Fighters, which were both basically Boss Games. The first 6 NES/Famicom games had a compilation rerelease in Japan as "Rockman Complete Works", which had a lot of music tracks remixed for the games. There was a bonus feature for the game which used the sadly-failed Pocketstation to enhance Megaman's stats. Ever imagine you'd two-shot a Robot Master with Charged Shots? It's hilarious~

In Wily Stage 2, the boss Tako Trash (I think you referred to him as something else in the video) can be beaten really quickly. If you use Drill Bomb, it disables its hitbox for whatever reason, meaning you can just head to his back, then jump and fire Drill Bomb over and over to kill it with little effort.
