The narrator: You’ve heard of the of countless tales of the wastelands. The tale of the dweller who in the end saved his vault but also lost it, due to the risks he had taken. The Chosen One, a tribal descendant of the dweller. Who fought back against tyranny and saved his tribe from the harsh reality of the wasteland. The lone wanderer who saved a dying population, and put a final nail in the enclave in the name of his own father. Generously following in his footsteps, and bringing pure water to the wasteland. The courier, despite cheating death twice. Decided the fate of the Mojave so that it may lay down it weapons. Sparing another few decades of bloodshed. The Soul Survivor, an entity of rage and revenge. Hellbent on retrieving their stolen son, and re forging civilisation. For the benefit of mankind. The dwellers of vault 76, who entered the new world unscathed by its monstrosities. To rebuild civilisation, or take what’s left for granted. You’ve heard of the Sierra Madre and it’s mysterious but intriguing tales. Of how it’s impossible to find. But getting to it wasn’t the hard part...it was letting go. The divide, where two couriers met for one final Stand, And the tales of the notorious big Mountain facility and the treacherous canyons, of Zion where tribal factions clashed for dominance. The Midwest and it’s unusual stories of the Brotherhood. The haunting islands of Point lookout, and Far harbour. The polluted and decaying streets of the Pitt, and it’s despicable violations to human rights, and the cursed plague that infests the city. The sins and vices of New Vegas and the raider forces in the abandoned Nuka World resort fighting for dominance and expansion. The horrific tales of Vault Tec and the lies and experiments they committed on their victims. However some vaults remained true to their ideals. Even The Origins Of Mr House who was once the CEO of RobCo and the ruler of New Vegas. Overseeing his empire from the Lucky 38 Casino. And the history of Joshua Graham, Ulysses, Chance, and many other truly forged warriors of the apocalypse. Great minds and machines. But there is one last tale yet to be told, and that story is yours... If these legends could speak now they’d all say one thing. And that one things is that, War, war never changes.... ....but men do, through the roads they walk And This road has reached its end....

When you play Fallout from beginning to end, completing all mission and all DLC, interacting with every character, then you see the ending cutscene with every result of what you've done. You are left with the feeling of satisfaction, but also sadness in knowing that it is the end of your characters story. An ending for Nuka World with a character I would have created. After the vault dweller and Augustus made an example of the leaders of the Pack, Disciples, and Operators; their wrath turned toward the surviving raiders. Using his previous experience as a Legion Centurion to his advantage, Augustus started by stripping each raider of their previous identity and forcing them into his new Legion. Those that resisted were either summarily killed or crucified. He began training his new army in the ways of combat, survival, and logistics; and then dispatched them to seek new raider bands to forcibly integrate or destroy. Though his ways were brutal, traders and settlers ended up enjoying a much safer standard of living as a result of Augustus’ takeover. Eventually Augustus went by a new name, taken from his previous master back in Nevada... Caesar.

I saw someone do a Brotherhood ending for fallout 4. So I will try to do a Minutemen one. Preston: After the Institute’s defeat at the ruins of CIT, Preston was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. Thanks to the aid of the mysterious man from Vault 111, the Minutemen have done things that they never thought they could. Whether it be finally reclaiming the castle, helping settlements that needed them, establishing trade routes, or even being able to make up for the mistakes made in Quincy, Preston felt that the Commonwealth finally had hope. He continued to faithfully serve the General, who was also his friend. Maxson: Maxson was surprised that a small civilian population could take down the might of the Institute. However, he wouldn’t deny their bravery and honor. When Maxson heard of the Minutemen’s great victory, he considered that the words of the Brotherhood outcasts in the Capital Wasteland might have been right all along. Failure to connect with the population was the catalyst for the western division of the Brotherhood of Steel’s failure. Maxson decided to accept the teachings of his friends back in the Capital Wasteland and helped the people with relief efforts. Maxson felt a strange sense of pride towards the Vault Dweller. Maybe he reminded him of a friend that he knew back in the Capital Wasteland who had to face a similar trial. X6-88: Confused as to why the Sole Survivor would destroy everything that his own son worked toward, the courser began to rethink his life and what he believed. He finally understood that the Institute was pure evil with their intention of political manipulation, and instilling fear into the populous. The courser decided to put his past behind him and told the Sole Survivor that there was no animosity between them. The courser would sometimes help the Sole Survivor and developed a more caring personality. Cait: After finally getting cured of her drug addiction, Cait was extremely thankful to the man who was kind enough to help a total stranger improve their life. Cait started to open up to the Sole Survivor about her past and what she had to endure. The Sole Survivor helped her overcome her past. When she wasn’t traveling with the Minutemen general, she would hunt down slavers and criminals. Even though she put her past behind her, she still had the warrior spirit; but she also had a newfound sense of justice. Piper: After helping the general of the Minutemen defeat the Commonwealth’s worst nightmare, Piper returned back to the newspaper office with plenty of new stories for her paper. Also, with the mayor of Diamond City dead, a new government was created. The ban on ghouls was lifted and ghouls started to come into the city. They were not met with fear or disgust, but with open arms and a warm smile. Piper was very happy about the difference that the Sole Survivor made. Her paper was selling well and giving people a sense of hope that they never felt before. She continues to fight alongside her boyfriend the Sole Survivor Nick Valentine: With the Institute destroyed, Nick returned to his office with a heavy burden lifted. Thanks to the kind nature of the Sole Survivor, he was able to track down Eddie Winter and kill him. He was comfortable knowing that the girl Nick loved was avenged. With the help of his new partner, they were able to solve some of Diamond City’s toughest cases. The business began to grow and Nick knew it was because of the man that saved him from the imprisonment of Skinny Malone. Danse: After the defeat of the Institute, the former paladin felt immense pride for his partner that saved him from an execution by his own team. Danse eventually managed to come to terms with his true identity and helped the Sole Survivor whenever he needed him. He couldn’t get to see the few true friends he had back on the Prydwen. However, he was proud of his friends for believing in him. Despite all of the trials Danse faced, he still had a feeling of peace knowing that he was still accepted despite the revelation of who he truly was. Curie: After the Sole Survivor helped her leave Vault 81 and getting her a new body, Curie began to observe the numerous creatures of the wasteland. Her notes would be put in a survival guide for the people of the commonwealth. She felt good knowing that she was making a difference. However, she was saddened by the destruction of the Institute and all of the technological innovations that could have bettered mankind. She would help the Sole Survivor by healing him and his companions whenever they needed help. Overseer McNamara: After the Sole Survivor saved young Austin from his illness, the residents of Vault 81 began to trust outsiders more even offering asylum to the less fortunate. Strong: After the destruction of the Institute, Strong was happy knowing that his new brother had the strength to defeat the metal men. Strong would go on to tell his brothers the stories of his travels with the Sole Survivor. After telling the stories and processing what happened, he began to realize that the kindness of the Sole Survivor was the milk of human kindness he had heard about. He began to change his personality and was a little nicer. He was still ready for a good fight though. Desdemona: The people of the Railroad were elated by the news of the Institute’s destruction. Any remaining synths that survived the explosion went to the Railroad and were led to a better life. Desdemona was upset that the Sole Survivor did not turn to them. However, she felt comfort knowing that the evil Institute would not be interfering with their plans again. Trevor: Thanks to the Sole Survivor, Trevor was able to find confidence and produce better commentary for his radio station. He will never forget the man who showed him that there were scarier things than simply talking on a radio. Trevor’s words gave the people hope and security. Deacon: After the Institute’s destruction, Deacon would continue to help the Sole Survivor fight the evils of the wasteland. He told the Sole Survivor about his past. However, the Sole Survivor wasn’t sure if the story he told was the truth. Father: Before the Institute was destroyed, he thought about how his own father went against his work and the progress he made. He felt betrayed by his father’s actions. However, maybe there were some thoughts in the back of his mind that told him that the Institute wasn’t as clean as they wanted to be. He never got to ponder the thoughts further. Kellogg: When Kellogg heard the stories of the vault dweller who overcame the obstacles of the wasteland, he felt a strange sense of happiness knowing that the Institute was going to pay for what they have done. Even with his last moments, he was at peace knowing that the Institute was going to get what they deserved. He knew how far a father would go to protect his children. He only wished he had done the same. Codsworth: Codsworth was very excited upon seeing that his master was ok. He helped his master fight the dangers of the wasteland. He made friends with all of the companions that the Sole Survivor brought with him and considered them part of his new family. Maccready: Thanks to the kindness of the Sole Survivor, Maccready’s son could finally be healed. He continued to help the Sole Survivor not because it was in his contract. This time, he helped the Sole Survivor out of the goodness of his heart. The heroics of the Sole Survivor reminded him of a certain man he knew back in the Capital Wasteland who had visited him when he was a kid. Hancock: After the Institute’s destruction, Hancock was proud of the friend he made. He knew that the Sole Survivor’s side was the right side to be on. He continued to be the mayor of Goodneighbor. A lot of the citizens left because of the ban on ghouls being lifted in Diamond City. Hancock couldn’t blame them. At least some people decided to stay. Dogmeat: The dog that was at the Red Rocket gas station remained loyal to the Sole Survivor and helped him when necessary. Even though he was usually a free spirit, he thought that sticking with the Sole Survivor for a while wasn’t a bad idea. Mama Murphy: Along with the other settlements, Sanctuary flourished and prospered thanks to the work of the Sole Survivor. The Sole Survivor’s words also helped Mama Murphy overcome her chem addiction and she became much healthier. When she heard of the destruction of the Institute, she knew that not even the Sight would have forseen that. So the Sole Survivor, a man out of time, was able to take a group of survivors and turn them into an army. The Minutemen now wait for the next conflict to rise. Because war, war never changes.

Porter Gage: When the Sole Survivor arrived at Nuka-World, Porter Gage had taken a huge risk by helping him overthrow the raider’s old boss Colter and declaring the Sole Survivor as the new Overboss of Nuka-World. But he should’ve known better. Soon after the park was cleared of threats and the power was restored, the Sole Survivor would turn his back on the raider gangs and hunt down each and every member of the Disciples, the Operators and the Pack one by one, until Gage was the only one left. The battle between the two of them ended just as quickly as it had started.

Getting the cure, Virgil was able to cure himself and return to normal, grateful for the help. He was devastated to learn that the sole survivor destroyed the institute, demanding they leave. Virgil was saddened at the thought of his home destroyed and friends deaths, but also knew of the atrocities the institute had caused and created.eventually he came to terms with what had to be done, forgiving the sole survivor.

***** There is an expression in the Wasteland: "Old World Blues. Doctor Klein: It refers to those so obsessed with the past they can't see the present, much less the future, for what it is. They stare into the what-was, eyes like pilot lights, guttering and spent, as the realities of their world continue on around them. Science is a long, steady progression into the future. What may seem a sudden event often isn't felt for years, even centuries, to come. We could say more, but the stories in the Big Empty speak for themselves. Now armed with the Transportalponder, the Courier could return to the Dome at any time and crack open the secrets of the Big Empty, one by one. The Sink sat vigilant, waiting for its master to return, shoes covered in Mojave dust. Only one road yet remained, and it was one the Courier had to walk alone.

The Enclave General "The Courier walked until he stood again upon the edge of the Divide, the last road he would walk before the second battle for Hoover Dam. There, beside his feet, was a final package, from one Courier to another - a footlocker, bearing a gift, and a message. But that message - it is something for Couriers to carry, and for them alone. The lights flickered across the Divide, reminders that the Old World histories persist, and find meaning in the present... It's said war - war never changes. Men do, through the roads they walk. And this road - had reached its end"

And so it was that the Lone Wanderer ventured forth from Vault 101 intent on discovering the fate of a father who had once sacrificed the future of humanity for that of his only child. The Capital Wasteland proved a cruel inhospitable place, but the Lone Wanderer refused to surrender to the vices that had claimed so many others. The values passed on from father to child - selflessness, compassion, honor - guided this noble soul through countless trials and triumphs. But it was not until the end of this long road that the Lone Wanderer learned the true meaning of that greatest of virtues - sacrifice. Stepping into the irradiated control chamber of Project Purity, the child followed the example of the father sacrificing life itself for the greater good of mankind. Thankfully, when selected by the sinister president to be his instrument of annihilation, the Wanderer refused. Humanity with all its flaws was deemed worthy of preservation. The waters of life flowed at last - free and pure, for any and all. The Capital Wasteland at long last was saved. So ends the story of the Lone Wanderer, who stepped through the great door of Vault 101 and into the annals of legend. But the tale of humanity will never come to a close, for the struggle of survival is a war without end, and war - war never changes.

The simplicity and easy extension of this track is a good reminder that it isn't over, which is far more eerie than any 'end of civilisation' ending. If the human race is wiped out, then that's it. If things go on ambiguously, it could be for our better or for our worse - in the world of Fallout, it's no longer our place to determine which it will be once the slides roll.

The Sole Survivor simply couldn't turn against his son, and so there forth, took down the Brotherhood and the Railroad. Fallout Frontier, revolting as it was, was finally driven back by an unlikely alliance and one which the new world would likely never see again: everyone. From the Brotherhood of Steel, the Enclave, Caesar's Legion, the NCR, Minutemen, the Institute, the Railroad, freemen of the wasteland, or what have you: all temporarily put aside their differences joined forces to push back the greatest evil to befall their franchise since FO76. Tried as it might and fought as much as it could, it ultimately was not able withstand the combiner fury of the Fallout fanbase, and it's traces from the wasteland were ultimately erased, becoming nothing more than a bad memory to laugh and poke fun of. At the end of the fight, all chanted the rallying cry that brought them all together: God Bless America. God Bless the Sneedclave.

Minutemen: After the destruction of the Institute, the Commonwealth Minutemen were fixed on bringing down any raiders, gunners, or hostile mutants in the area. Led by the Sole Survivor to their old glory, the Minutemen thrived, utilizing better equipment, better organization, and a more numbers, it was said that even feral ghouls thought twice about attacking a lone minuteman. Brotherhood of Steel: Despite the strength of Minuteman forces, the Brotherhood was still welcome in the Commonwealth, on the condition they don't fire on non-hostile mutants and synths. The Brotherhood, seeing as how they had no choice, accepted the offering of peace, and stayed cozy in the skies. Knowing that the world below had changed, they shared their tech with the Railroad and Minutemen. Railroad: With the Institute broken forever, the Railroad's job was much more easy, and although the L&L Gang often tormented their synths, they were no match for the stealth and wit of the Railroad, and quickly vanished into the annals of history. Institute: With their underground base exploded, the Institute was little more than a story to scare children into behaving. The Gen 1 and 2 synths who were outside of the Institute when it was blown up malfunctioned, and were hellbent on attacking the settlements of humanity. But the Gen 3 synths had a hard restart of sorts, and started new lives as memory-ridden settlers or raiders unaware of there dark origin as advanced robots. Diamond City: When Mayor McDonough's scandal was realized to the people of Diamond City, they took revenge on the spy. Thrown off the top of the Great Green Wall, his body, shattered, was a symbol to all would-be Institute spies. The City Council took control of the Great Green Jewel, and, after a lot of negotiating, the many ghouls of the wasteland were given safe passage into the city. Goodneighbor: The "impurity" of the Commonwealth remained, despite the ravages of the triggermen, con artists, and chemheads, Goodneighbor remained free of Minutemen rule, but was still "Of The People, For The People" Mechanist: Isabella, regretful and full of spite, ended the robot construction, and became a trader, selling all the scrap she could find in the RobCo Service and Sales Center. Vault 81: With Overseer McNamara out of the way, Vault 81's experiments ended, and it became known as the one place in the Commonwealth that was truly safe from the outside... Outside, never! Vault, forever Nuka-World: With Mason, Mags and William Black, and Nisha dead, the remaining Pack members, Operators, and Disciples scattered. Others tried to lead them to taking back Nuka-World, but only got more of them killed. And so, The Sole Survivor was marked among the other great wastelanders, such as The Vault Dweller, The Chosen One, The Lone Wanderer, and The Courier. But his road did not end there, he fought more battles, did more deeds, and made more legends...
