i didn't know how to feel about that revelation the first time it hit me, because "PRESENTATION!" is such a fucking iconic moment, but seeing all the lengths minion goes to to save megamind's (ex) girlfriend, their dating inadvertently being the thing that drives a wedge between them, and going all in right behind megamind in his quest to redeem himself and be a hero... that's good character shit right there. it makes me love minion even more.

I regret not watching this movie sooner. The advertisements did not do the movie justice. This is one of the best fight scenes I've seen!!! Also the fact that the hero has the logical and sneaky style of a villain and the villain is powerful and emotional like hero sort of made this fight more epic. 0:16-0:18. Theres just something so epic about this. The old bad guy coming out to fight for the city with them watching on. When you know despite all his "evil" flair and persona. The city knew at heart Megamind never intentionally went out to hurt or kill anyone, rather he enjoyed it all as part of the game. That when it came down to it, he actually came back to fight and defend the people against what he knew was real evil. You have to like how the city know that Titans thing of blowing up buildings in crowded city streets and genuinely hurting people, is something they knew Megamind would never stoop too. Hence when he came back, they didn't question his new role as the good guy. Great character development.
