Eah I do the same when my opponent made an amazing comeback. But when they roll 6 heads on Misty and wipe my board with Articuno, I just concede and wont let them have the glorious moment 😂

My very first deck when i was a kid was a premade electric grass deck. it has vileplume and raichu in it. so naturally, i made a vileplume deck and a raichu deck in this game. glad to see someone else make the vileplume deck. my deck was vileplume and wigglytuff ex together though so either i build wiggly or vileplume depending on what i draw. ill try exeg later if it works better.

The top meta decks are all best when going second so it's easy to build a bias from it but it's not always true. Cards like Exeggutor and Wigglytuff want to go first and are meta competitive

Yeah it's afwul especially when you dont have all the cards and cant run any meta or even close to meta and you just lose one energy compared to the one going second

Damn, I can’t believe we’ve been sleeping on Vileplume for this long. Yes, this deck is a bit too coin-flippy to really be meta relevant, but I have to say, I’ve had some insane wins with us and it is seriously so fun to play with. If you aren’t the type to get salty about losing to coin flips, definitely give this one a try. The constant sleep cheese combined with the Erica healing makes for some truly epic reverse sweep victories when the coin flip gods smile upon you.

Try non EX Lapras x1, Tentacruel x 2, Kingler x 2. Surprisingly strong into most decks outside of electric decks.

Been loving the Pokémon Pocket videos lately, Mogwai! Idk if you've tried it out yet, but Victreebel is SUPER fun to use and super underrated! It's great against people who try and X Speed + Retreat their low HP Pokémon! Especially their EXs! And even has some decent bulk to it!

Mogwai, just started playing this recently. Given the randomness of card acquisition, would you be open to the idea of providing replacements? Or are decks very synergistic in terms of construction so that they have to be virtually 1:1 in build?

Usually I just replace missing pieces with what I have. Like, if you're building a grass type deck, replace what you're missing with what grass type mons you have. You can also include a few colorless (normal) type Pokémons. Kangaskhan is really good. Good luck!

Upgrades needed. 1st turn should allow access to energy placement. Better Arcanine (an attack that reduces retreat cost) (like Flame charge with a coin flip that adds extra damage and reduces retreat cost to zero). Fire/electric pokemon with a pokemon power that allows the active pokemon to add extra ATK in exchange for energy discard. X-ATK, X-DEF item card. Psychic pokemon with pokemon power that looks at top 3 cards. Gengar with hypnosis (1 energy) and dream eater (deals damage to sleeping pokemon and heals for a portion of that damage.(3 energy). Poison effect persists while on the bench. Item card to instant bench active pokemon (bypass effects that disable retreating).

Hi Mog, I had an idea for a Golem deck. Run it with Weezing x 2 and 1 x Koga, 2 x Kang and 2 x Brock. You can run it with dark energy only to garantie Weezing dmg, since Golem only need 1 fighting energy, that you can get from Brock. I haven't tried the deck, since i need 2 golems myself. Love the videos and the streams KEEP IT UP
