Golbat is the best because it can make the Mewtwo matchup much easier. Mienshao and Whimsicott are not bad, but they don't have realistic applications at the moment. Mienshao is really close, because it hurts Pikachu Ex, but Pikachu only needs 2 energies to oneshot Mienshao, unlike Mewtwo. Still, a "toolbox style" deck with Golbat-Mienshao and an heavy hitter of your choice could be really cool.

This has become one of my favourite decks! Though I cut one of the meowths for Sabrina. Considering the current event focuses heavily on EX Pokemon, this deck almost guarantees a 5-win streak.

@jorgeskuf I only struggle against arbok/weezing decks with this one. As long as you get a little bit lucky with your draws, this deck is fairly consistent against heavy EX decks. Considering moltress is weak against electric, it is fairly easy match-up especially if you can lead with zaptos. Then you can pivot to raichu / or Sabrina for another kill. For Mewtwo, I sack a Pokémon to get damage on Mewtwo and generally revenge kill with one of the other Pokemon's and then Sabrina.

Raichu deck needs Magneton set and Lt sarge card for free energy regen and pass it on Raichu early- mid turns. Magneton and Electrode can be a starter in active spot if a deck get brick sometimes.

Do you know if butterfree and arcanine ex would have any good synergy? Since caterpie would always find his evolution line if he’s the only grass pokemon in deck then just permanent healing on arcanine if you can get all the pieces online

I have been trying this deck and it is super inconsistent. Every time I’ve played this deck the last 15 rounds by lieutenants are buried deep in the deck. My evolution is buried deep in the deck. So it ends up, turning into the slow deck that doesn’t really work.
