1:00 It's not the way it's coded, it's the way mulligans work in pokemon TCG. You don't start until both players can actually put something in the field XD The disadvantage with physical cards is that you have to show your hand to the opponent to show you don't have basics, so they already know your deck. You still draw the same number of cards

I'm currently loving 1 Prize Water, has so many good Stage 1 attackers, between Golduck (my beloved), Tentacruel (high HP/great attack) and Frosmoth (need I say more? Zzz). Granted I literally miss every single Misty I play, but it can get attacks online quick, but really at only 2 energy each it's pretty easy to get a bench set up then constantly bounce between them with X-Speeds. (Also been planning to try out a version of the deck with Omastar). Otherwise, Dugtrio is consistently hilarious. I've seen someone have great success with Jolteon flips. Melmetal also looks very promising. Mienshao is splashable in any deck since it attacks with 1 colourless giving you a good attacker into electric matchups, could be fun to make a toolbox kindof deck. Victrebel seems fun. And I've been eyeing up Persian handcontrol (paired with good board controllers like Arbok or Frosmoth).
@smokelingers26 күн бұрын
You can't hold your Dome Fossil in your hand in fear of Sabrina, you're just delaying your Kabutops. As players become aware that you intend to evolve Dome Fossil, they will target it more effectively. Use other fossils as fodder / free switch. Pokemon (6): 2 Onix 2 Kabuto 2 Kabutops Trainers (14): 2 Brock 2 Dome Fossil 4 Professor's Research / Giovanni / Sabrina 1 Red Card 1 Pokeball 2 Potion 2 Helix Fossil / Old Amber
@Keepcalm-lovesports26 күн бұрын
that's a bad strat, you always need to push your own gameplan. the game is too straightforward for you to play around their stuff for a turn and sacrifice a point by playing a fossil that doesn't do anything. you clog up your draws as well. this deck has major weaknesses you just need to accept, play to it's strengths.
@smokelingers25 күн бұрын
@@Keepcalm-lovesports That's exactly what the Dome Fossil is doing if you hold it to play around Sabrina, being a dead card, which then invalidates the 2 Kabuto and 2 Kabutops in the deck. If you're saying it's better to play the Dome Fossil regardless of Sabrina, I agree. But I also think having 8 Supporters is clogging up your draws, so I'd rather have an additional 2 Fossils as fodder / free switches / Sabrina counters (they don't "do nothing").

Turn 1, onix + Brock Turn 3, energy + Brock = swinging with 3 energy and 70 damage. The opponent hasn’t had the chance to evolve yet, so unless they are opening with a kang, or some brutish or something thick.. they get one shot. Obviously having both Brock’s in your opening hand is wild, and going first.. but still. Not impossible.

@ivancito779025 күн бұрын
I sure would love to play with all these decks, but these cards are too hard to get. I'm missing 2 Kabutops for this one, and from the last one, I'm missing a Weezing. And this is after opening over 100 packs. The game is way too expensive. Trading better alleviate just how hard it can be to get certain cards.
