THIS Podcast was everything!! Kudos to them both for their level of transparency. The WISDOM for especially our brothers, men, and born Leaders of our homes and families. Thank you for normalizing true submission begins with submitting to God first. True submission is not forced control. True submission is birthed from true Love which can only come from God because God is Love. Thank you for confirming what I have had a revelation of for years. Just to hear it come from a man is everything. I am hopeful. Your should write a book and make a movie even that demonstrates the different scenerios your marriage went through where your submission to God to love her cultivated trust and safety for her to submit. Verses a forced control which is stemmed from insecurity and lack of true humility. In the book, she can respond to what each strategy did for her and how it tore down the wall to build the trust and safety. Every woman or wife desires her husband to Love her the way Christ loves. I believe it is in every woman/wife to submit. But she must feel loved (seen, safe, and secure).

Amy I want to thank you for explaining and describing that “not one and done thing” regarding sexual activity especially at that young age of 20. I am now 55 and a woman. And I remember vividly being proud about being a virgin at that age. I knew the Lord and wanted a faithful relationship with Him. Unfortunately I was not as faithful to God as I should have been and not in love with my first encounter but he knew I was a virgin too. It became that “bother” thing too. My prayer for other young women is that they maintain their virginity especially if they have or desire a walk with Christ. Sexual activity can open up things you may not be prepared to experience. Respect and maintain your boundaries. Trust there is no judgment here. Thank God that he is the only judge and the merciful forgiver. God bless you all.

Sexual activity really does open up things a young person, especially women... may not be prepared for. Soul ties and trauma bonds are real. I saw this my my younger relatives. It can damage self esteem and can be very damaging all around.
