This, to me, is more like 'musings' in lieu of what I would necessarily consider poetry. Not that the moniker is that important. This is not dissimilar to musical artists who write songs about their past relationships, which has been going on for decades.

I personally love that there are no rules to what we can call poetry. And also it’s brave of her to talk about things from the past, no matter how long ago they happened. Working through our trauma is a lifelong process.
