We were in Lancaster county last night for a Sights and Sound production of David and dinner at the Shady Maple. It was my first time visiting and it was beautiful! I wish we could have stayed longer and explored more. Next time!

Northern Michigan. We do mini day trips here. Lighthouses, trails to walk,little towns to explore,beach glass and Petoskey stone searching,lake side concerts......so many choices here. I love your new bike Megan.

As a fellow Christian KZbinr who lives just outside of Lancaster county (I live in Dauphin county and work in Lancaster city!), this was so much fun to watch as I saw a lot of familiar shots. We love the river trail and white cliffs of conoy too! And Calico Creek is one of my favorite shops. I agree; this area is so magical in the summer 💛

My hubby has an Aventon ebike as well! We have a lot of hills in our town, so a regular bike wasn’t cutting it. Now he can bike to work in nice weather which will help conserve gas during these crazy times! Miller in his overalls with no shirt was just the cutest thing!! 😍

Such a fun video! Staycations are awesome. We live in Western PA in Venango County and we're camping at Two Mile Run County park. Campsites are private and spacious and there's a lake for swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, and trails for hiking, horseback riding, and biking. Nice recreational area.

I meant to tell you in a previous video, When you was sharing your recipe for the cream cheese and ranch mixture. I make it pretty often. It's really good spread on Salomi then roll it up. We won't have a summer vacation this year but we'll do daily trips as much as we can take off. One day every 2 weeks or so. There is so much to do during the summer and we are blessed to live in this country.

Thank you for sharing your staycation with me! I love that you and Josh make such a great team parenting. I went fishing with my dad about four times as a kid. I am not a person who remembers a lot from my childhood, but I do remember the fishing days and the one day he took me to DQ for ice cream. You are making lifetime memories with your kids. Miller and his beautiful eyes and smile just lighten anyone's day. I love the sweetness your older two share. I love the review you and Josh did on the E-bike. My husband is a bicycle commuter at 58 and has talked about getting an E-bike. He rides 29 miles one way. Our daughter is looking to do the same thing. Have a great weekend!

We have an electric cargo bike. It can fit 3 kids on the back (or two kid seats). If you don't have kids back there it can haul up to 400 lbs. It's basically a minivan on two wheels. I use for grocery shopping and used to use it for the school run (we homeschool now), it allowed us to stay a one car family. I love my bike!

It is so much fun to see the various places around your county. What a wonderful, wholesome place to raise a family. I grew up in a very small town, and I yearn to return to live there someday. I didn't entirely appreciate the beauty and simplicity of that rural place while I was growing up in it. Anyway, thank you so much for the tour!

My parents had a slide picture of my brother sitting on one of the boulders in the middle of the Susquehanna River back in the 1960s when the river was so low it was like a small stream - and I remember when the fish farm was a fish hatchery - we always had great luck using canned corn when we went fishing at my grandfather's farm in Spring Garden -Definately try Lapp Valley Farms ice cream!!

We have always loved the Lancaster area. When we lived in Upper Delaware we were always up in the Strasberg, Bird in Hand, Honey Brook area. Our kids loved the area and we camped up there all the time. Since we retired and moved to New Jersey seven years ago we hadn’t been there. But next month we are going back up there for a few days vacation and can’t wait. We have added the town of Lititz to our list of towns to visit. Watching your video brought back memories of the area and now I can’t wait to go. Your children are so sweet and Miller looks just like his Daddy.

Such fun adventures! I loved it all! That shop was awesome, it was very "you"☺️ I am in north western Illinois. Something maybe unusual, that is near me, is a llama 🦙 farm! In the summer they have llama/ alpaca "beach" parties. There is a sand area near a pond, music, puppet shows, food truck and fiber crafts.

We live in the country. About 40 miles west of Indy Where the 500 race on Memorial weekend runs. 15 miles north is home of the book author of Ben Hur & the only rotary jail museum that still operates the rotary cell on Labor Day Weekend.

Here in the Netherlands we bike everywhere and e-bikes are very popular. I have a cargo e-bike to haul my kids around. Our country is very bike friendly with special bike lanes and such.

Dear Megan, love the little adventures of your family. The Olive spoon is really beautiful. As marinated Olives are Stored in oil, you can get one or two Olives out and drain the oil through the holes at the same time 😉 I like the electric bike from my mother in law. It's already some years old, so it's quite loud on the Higher assistance and you always have to pedal. If you stop to pedal the electric assistance stops immediately to make sure you're always working while using it 😂 Really love the views in Lancaster County. All the Mennonites and espacially Amish. My box arrived from Cocalico Creek! Ive been looking for a Pack pack bag this size to carry as a handbag. I this can't wait to use it. I purchased the cute sugar bowel with lid, rattan placemat for the center of my table, and the ruffled 16oz mug. Can't wait to have a morning coffee in it. I have a mix of mugs I like to enjoy. Oh and a woven dish tee towel. I can't wait to visit this store in person and my mom and I enjoy a good latte, iced coffee from corner coffee shop, my favorite. But I will bring her on our annual mother daughter trip in September when my dad is at a conference and we are going to hit some of the coffee spots and a market. We always stay at bird n hand, amishview, kitchen kettle inn or Best western in intercourse. Its a great time to spend with my mom for a couple days. We as a family always enjoy Lancaster for the sights and sound and American music theater in November or December its just a wonderful place around the holidays. We are from northern NJ about 2 1/2hrs. Some of us are from Bergen and Sussex county. Other than spending a lot of my life at my home away from home in Lake George NY Lancaster is my second love!I love watching your videos when im missing Lancaster Thank you!
