Thanks for being honest and shooting this video, even though it was difficult stuff for you to talk about. Sending hugs My words for 2024 were: Heal, Ease & Presence (and I’m carrying them right over into 2025 🙃)

Hello Megan, I've been watching you since Miller was born. I'm an older mom of 5 all mine are grown adults now but I'm always open to learn new tips, tricks and recipes and I learn a lot from you, regardless of age, I'll be 55 in January. I've been trying to get some of your Tallow balm but it's been sold out. I told my husband about and he bought some for me as a surprise. Let me tell you, I just started using it and I absolutely love it. Thank you for making such a wonderful product for us. I highly recommend it to anyone who reads this. Thank you for all you do for us and have a very blessed Christmas ❤

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 - Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. This has been a huge encouragement to me this year going through some health challenges! Love the verses you quoted in Philippians 4!

Yes, hug your kids, I’m from Wisconsin and the latest school shooting was close to home. My word is JOY. Our pastor said joy is not an emotion, it’s an attitude. I want my attitude to be more full of joy.

I wait for your videos each week. You are a good person with a wonderful family. You are open and honest, which is so refreshing. Your children are precious. Thanks. Merry Christmas. My father worked at Bethlehem Steel for 31 years as a production foreman in the Open Hearth where the made the actual steel. His area made the steel for WWII. It was a rough job. He was a good father and a wonderful Godly man. I miss him, but I know he is in Heaven and I will be with him again, and with my mother and family. God is so good.

This video reminds me; that being thankful is a revelation that some people never aquire. Thankfulness draws more things to you to be thankful for. Even if at a certain moment, you only have the air you breathe to be thankful for. It's so beautiful the way you brought that idea out in this video. Love your beautiful heart and the way you help so many.

I’ve been covering my hair for religious reasons now for more than 5 years, but occasionally when I know I’m not going to see anyone, I won’t cover and end up finding hairs in the food I’m make for my family, so there are many benefits to covering! 😅😂🥰 great tips! Thank you for the encouragement from on SAHM to another 👏💕

I lost my husband of 40 years in August and since his death I have found that I have no patience with myself. Needless to say my One Word for 2025 will be patience. My current word was Focus, little did I know I would first focus on God and His Word reading the Day by Day Chronological Bible and will have read the entire Bible this year. My other focus was on my husband and provide the care he needed. I was fortunate to be his caregiver at home until the end of his life and keep him out of the hospital or nursing home.

Greetings from the middle of Nebraska. Oh Megan, I don't know what you are doing for yourself but you look absolutely glowing as you sit by the Christmas tree and fire. I have said this before, but you are truly wise beyond your years! Your family is so blessed to have you as their mother and wife. You prioritize everything around your family. Every video brings me joy in my day. I pray that the new year brings you many blessings and improved health for everyone especially your sweet son Fletcher. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas filled with love, joy, peace and togetherness. God bless!!

When I first started watching you I had a baby and I was in a tough emotional place because I had lost my father the year prior and it was a pretty traumatic situation so I was having trouble being present and as nurturing as I had imagined I would be when I had a baby. I was fearful and anxious much of the time. Watching you encouraged me to find the joy in motherhood and I am so very grateful, but I must admit there was a certain ease about your presentation of motherhood that I always felt inferior to. It looked so much easier for you than it was for me. Watching you this year has been such a special experience for me because I’ve felt such communion WITH you. You became more real to me and I am so humbled by your sharing of hard things because it is evident that it has changed you as a person and as a mom. I felt like the weight I have felt in my heart while sustaining and nurturing young life has been reflected and shared by your experience and it has made me feel stronger and more capable as a mother. To make a long story longer- I have prayed for you and your family for a long time and will continue to do so. Thank you for being a light in a sometimes dark world and please know that your experience has served to help at least one person navigate the heavy stuff in life. God bless you and your family and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

We make bread almost everyday with freshly milled flour. We have our recipe but honestly I find that the biggest thing is to make sure you knead it well!! (I will let it knead in our mixer for a minute or so but I find that by hand is SO much faster and it turns out better.) 2 cups warm water 1/3 cup sugar 1 T. of yeast (slightly mix and let rest 5 minutes) add 1/3 cup oil of choice and mix then add 5-6 cups freshly milled flour 1/3 cup of white flour 1 T. salt 1 T. lecithin (we normally don't add this but we have in the past to increase the quality of the bread) let it combine in the mixer until its pulled together for a minute or 2 then knead by hand 100 times put in a warm place for about an hour form the dough however you want let it rise again for another hour bake at 350 for 20-30+ minutes depending on how you formed it (we use the same recipe for EVERYTHING rolls, loaves, French loaves, cinnamon buns, ect.)

Thanks for confirming to me by this video that my word for next year should be "stewardship". I have been doing a bible study in James by Susan Heck, & the Holy Spirit has been really convicting me about how I steward my time & money & speach regardless of what situation I am in life & to lean more into doing what's right, with grace, instead of making excuses for spending or wasting my time. God bless you! ❤

I like to watch your channel as your life is different to mine and seeing how you go through your days is enjoyable. I don’t do anything going into a new year but if I had to pick a word it would be “Ability “. You have the ability to do anything you want, you know your limits and the only obstacle is you. Enjoy the holidays with your family, life flies the older you get. I’m a luck mum of 3 adults (41,39,35) and nana to 11 grandkids (18-2). Stay safe stay strong and live your life with joy in your heart x
